Wind sucks, plain and simple. This company does NOT deserve to serve Canadians and uses spurious tactics. Number one thing to know: their coverage is terrible. If you don’t live in a major centre or if you travel out of a major centre you pay huge money. Number two: cancelling within the grace period is a huge hurdle. I called in and told them I want to cancel because their coverage sucked. I bought an HTC m9 outright from then and live in Victoria and they wanted me to come back to the store to cancel. I finally got the telephone operator to cancel my account. I then got a bill for around $ 20 in the mail — didn’t pay it. Number three: they have an arm of their company that acts as a collection agency called the CCB(or something close); they make themselves out to be a part of the government to scare people but are really just Wind employees. They called and told me I had to write in and cancel and that because I didn’t I still owe the $ 20 despite cancelling within two days of signing up. Stay clear of this company that DOESNOT operate in good faith and rely’s on nefarious tactics to make profits. SHAME on WIND mobile, you don’t deserve to operate in Canada and you give business a bad name! Scott of Victoria BC

Is there a «0» star option? First, this store is run by unprofessional«employees» who don’t even know how to speak English all that well. Next, their«Phone Unlocking Service», offered by a third party service provider, «Zhu’s Cell Phone Service», is illegitimate and one of the most terrible services I’ve ever experienced. They have this HUGE sign on their door that says, «Unlocking phones! Including: Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, IPhone 4» etc etc. LIES. ALLLIES. When my boyfriend dropped off my S3 to get it unlocked to WIND, these people said, «YES, WECANTOTALLYDOIT. WECANUNLOCKITTOWIND», as my phone was bought from Bell. This was confirmed TWICE; once to me, another time to my boyfriend. It took that ZHU guy 7 days, TEXTINGME that he can do it, and that he just needs more times. FINALLY, he says it’s been done, and that we can go pick it up. Turns out, my phone can’t even be unlocked to WIND. When confronted, this Zhu guy ANDWIND guy accused me and my boyfriend of stealing the phone, and told him to bring a receipt + paperworks that says otherwise. If not, then they won’t give me my refund. Heh. My phone, as mentioned, was still being paid off, by me, to Bell, as I had originally purchased it, along with my plan, about a year ago. Don’t worry, we got our refund anyway, but only after arguing about it for 1 hour in the store, manager nearly screaming at my boyfriend. I was honestly disgusted with the way this mobile store handled the issue, and the fact that Zhu’s Unlocking Services aren’t even legit; we found out later that his business was NOWHERE listed in the New Westminster businesses. AND, when I called up WIND’s customer service, they were extremely perplexed by this third party business that they had going. Funnily enough, the big sign is now gone, but the small sign is still there. Don’t do business with this store and its people, and don’t even bother to get your phones unlocked with this Zhu guy.

Impossible and argumentative. This location makes it virtually impossible to do business with them post signing up. I love my Wind Mobile plan and the 800 number customer service. The stores are lacking in both customer service and product/plan knowledge. If you want to be ignored and leaving feeling like they don’t value your business then this is the place for you.
