Ramada Niagara Falls/Fallsview

Tacky hotel. Pay $ 10 more and stay at a nicer place close by. This is cheap and smut. Thread bare sheets and dirty mattress. I am surprised they didn’t have bedbugs.

Hotel was kind of old but the room was decently sized. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, then it’s good enough. It’s close enough to a lot of the main attractions at Niagara Falls so you can mostly walk to everything. It’s clean but the rooms weren’t very great looking. There was an old dingy kind of feel to it all. Staff are friendly though. There was a slight discount to the IHOP attached, but the food there is overpriced and not that great anyway.

Stayed here bc of a Groupon package and I must say I was pretty satisfied with my stay. The groping deal included the hotel, several wineries, and food vouchers. The hotel room was clean and spacious. It was also in a good location with an IHOP attached. I would come back to this location when in the area when looking for a cheap comfortable stay. Nothing too ritzy but definetely not shabby!

Got a Groupon for this hotel. The Groupon was amazing for prices and offered food vouchers and a wine tour. What I did not like about this hotel is it is over priced for parking, nothing in the hotel seemed modern. We were on the 5^th floor, the elevator would start to open before it came to a complete stop, like a horror attraction. Not sure if I would book here again, mediocre experience.

Stayed with a groupon deal. Had to pay for parking and some random hidden fees. It’s not the closest to the falls. I recommend you not staying here if you have kids. The vouchers you get through groupon deals are pretty much useless as they lead straight into tourist traps. Towels in my room were very crappy — probably one of the crappiest I’ve used on the road. The TV in my room didn’t work and there was no fridge in the room. I wouldn’t stay in this place again.

Stay was ok, room was what you would expect from Ramada. Maid service was ok, forgot to leave clean towels on our second day. $ 14.00 per day for parking. Customer service was friendly and accommodating. IHOP in hotel lobby is on the expensive side, $ 50.00 breakfast for two, $ 15.00 voucher helped but it is only one voucher per table and we were traveling with another couple so we both couldn’t use voucher. Same with dinner vouchers to the Keg and Ruth Christ’s steakhouses! Second morning we walked down one block and ate at a nice Buffett for $ 6.99 a person!
Hotel was in walking distance to the horseshoe falls and there was a WEGO stop right out front of hotel so we could get around very easy.
Overall we got what we paid for. Being a HiltonHonors member it was a very tough stay as there is a Hilton doubletree Suites directly across the street.

All I have to say is this hotel was gross, you could NOT see the falls. Our room smelled terrible and have weird wet spots on the carpet… the bathroom had a fan that would turn on sometimes… I was not happy at all… they also get you with $ 14 a day parking.

Stayed here in March with groupon. The room was a good size for a double and had a fridge. The bathroom was a nice size and updated except a loose tile right next to the bath tub that you step on every shower.
The groupon included IHOP vouchers that they took off with no problem, even allowed us to redeem 2 vouchers since we had 4 people, 2 different rooms. The prices are way higher than normal but I think the food was actually better than most IHOPs.
Staff was friendly, no real problems. We received all vouchers we were supposed to get. You do have to pay for parking, which is a tiny lot behind the hotel. When this place gets busy, get ready to search for parking. It is a couple blocks away from the happening spots but a pleasant walk. Great distance from the falls considering the price.

We booked a room for one night at $ 345!!! It was the july 4^th weekend but still… its in canada and thats an american holiday. We had the jr suite, very cool bathtub. But the sheets/​curtains/​carpet were very outdated and ugly. Our air conditioner didnt work very well, and the hallways were FREEZING. The tv kept turning on and off. The staff were nice but I dont think we would stay here again.

Stayed here for the first night. The staff was great help. I was upgraded due to their mistake to an amazing room with a jacuzzi. Not sure what the other rooms are like but was pleased with this place.

First if all, I gave 1 star because I can’t give ZERO stars.
Do not — I repeat — DO NOT– dare forget any of your belongings because you’ll never hear back from the head of housekeeping if you call to see if they can find it. You’ll also get attitude from the Reps. despite the fact you may have tried in vain to get a response from Housekeeping but are understandably upset, several voice messages later. Mouldy jacuzzi tub (discovered only after the tub is full and the jets are turned on). Stiff mattress, no mini– fridge, small pool and Reps. with a lot of attitude over the phone– they wouldn’t be so rude if it’s in person, though. I was told by a Rep. not to «get on with her» when I called upset after the 5^th time about my missing item and lack of reply from the Head of Housekeeping and I had to put her ass in check. Oh, and parking is 14 $/​day but there’s cheaper parking up the road and bottled 750 mL pop/​fruit drinks start at 2.99 plus tax and bottled water is 4.99! Might as well just buy a house up there while you’re at it!
DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION.

For the groupon deal we got our money’s worth. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with large bathroom. Cool view of the tower and Clifton Hill. Charged for parking. Short drive to casinos and restaurants.

Bought a Groupon deal for a 2 night stay here from Thursday to Saturday (65 CAD per night). The deal included coupons for IHOP, Ruth Chris, and two winery passes for Peller Estates, Trius at Hillebrand, Wine Country Vinters, and Thirty Bench (typically sell for $ 20 per person).
We got a nice room on the top floor of the hotel. Two queen beds, clean, good amount of space. Pillows are soft, mattresses are firm, and blankets are warm. There is no room fridge, but there is free wifi. Shower on the 9^th floor had good water pressure, and there was plenty of hot (actually almost scalding) water. Soaps and body lotion smell good.
There is also a business center downstairs near the lobby with two computers. You can print things for free here!
Housing keeping and staff are friendly.
Parking is 14 CAD a night. Parking lot is safe and has plenty of space.
There is also a pool here, next to the check in desk and the IHOP, which is open from about 7am — 11pm. We never used it, but we did see some other guests who did; the pool is small.
Edit: Wow, didn’t realize this is my 100^th review! Probably should have reviewed something a little more sexy and special than a hotel, but ah well.

Came here on a groupon offer. You can see why they are turning to groupon to trump up business. Agree with others that there was no falls view. The room was very outdated, dark and dingy. The tub was not clean. There were two beds (thankfully) because one sloped so badly toward the wall I was afraid I’d get dizzy just trying to sleep there.
As we are seasoned travelers — we should have known better than to fall for this tyope of thing. The coupons they gave are also just a joke. $ 70 towards Ruth Chris (see my comment for that restaurant) and $ 15 off of an IHOP breakfast. The breakfasts average price was $ 15+ so by the time we had 2 breakfasts and 1 coffee — along with the taxes our bill was $ 40 for a $ 4.99 breakfast.
The canadian side of Niagra Falls is beautiful — but the prices they gouge here are ridiculous. Go to see the falls here, but give the United States your hard earned money on everything else!

I got a Groupon for a two night stay here this weekend after Thanksgiving. I was happy to find that when we arrived about two hours before check-​in time they already had the room ready and were able to provide us with the restaurant coupons (yes, they were primarily coupons with a minimum spending requirement, not vouchers… the Groupon is blatantly misleading about that.). The woman at the front desk was exceptionally nice as well and didn’t mind giving us directions to where we were trying to go.
We booked a room with a single king bed but got two queens instead, but it was fine for us. The room was not particularly well designed, but it had all the amenities I personally needed. One thing about the structure of the hotel that is very noticeable is how thin the walls are. You could hear peoples’ conversations at normal talking levels through the walls easily. On one night we were awoken at 2:30 AM by some drunk woman screaming incoherently from somewhere in the hotel that went on for at least half an hour.
I was overall a little disappointed in the cleanliness. The sheets had some stains and there was a hair in the tub. After we had used a number of towels on the first morning and hung them up as directed by placards in the bathroom we came home to find our towels still hanging where we left them. More clean towels were provided, but there was not a bath mat towel as there had been before (and of course that was one of the towels that we used that they did take away!). They also did not provide clean glasses or coffee mugs for the second day (although tbh I’m not sure if most hotels do.) nor did they provide another bag of coffee even though we had used it. Similarly, they did not restock the soaps and shampoo/​conditioner for the second day despite our use.
Another slight disappointment was the wifi. It was available for free but it was very, very slow.
There was no real «wow» factor but the hotel was well-​located for walking to all the main attractions and driving to the wineries as we did. All in all this hotel was acceptable.

Location was good. Easy walking distance to main entertainment venues. Room was clean, though linen needs to be upgraded. Tea /​coffee, microwave and fridge available in the room.

We bought a groupon to stay here 2 nights for $ 70/​night. No falls view, but was supposed to be a king room. I’m not exactly sure how well you’d be able to see the Falls even from the Fall-​view side because there are other buildings between the hotel and the Falls, so you might want to skip the mark up for the Fall view room and just walk down there yourself to see them.
We arrived and checked in. The hotel employee told us no more kinds were available. My husband said no, we needed a king, and that’s what we paid for. Without hesitation, a room «opened up.» Really, it was on the fall view side, but on the second floor so all you see is the roof of the pool. OK, fine.
The room was dated — there was so much red everywhere! It didn’t bother me too much though, as we were barely in the room.
Bathroom was fine, just small. Not sure why it was there, but there was a fairly large Jacuzzi tub in the middle of the room, between the bathroom sink and the bed. Not sure what it was, but there were red-​ish colored marks on the tub. We didn’t use it, and I would have preferred a bigger bathroom area instead.
The towels were cheap, scratchy, and thin. I was not a fan. Paid parking too, with in and out privileges. We knew that going in, but still a bummer.
Even among the bad, I’m still overall mostly satisfied with our stay. The Ramada was the cheapest hotel we could find within walking distance of the Falls. Also, with our groupon, we received a pass for free wine tours/​tastings to 4 wineries in Niagara on the Lake. We used the passes for Trius and Peller, which saved us probably $ 20/​person. Free wi-​fi too.

I’ll just write a quick review here —
Pros: Seated right away, food was good, large booths for larger parties
Cons: Bad service, Long wait for food and refills.
If you really want pancakes then yes they are yummy! Although be aware that this restaurant lacks in service and attentiveness. We waited 15 — 20 minutes before even being greeted by our server. Food was tasty but a little luke-​warm. I imagine you can find better breakfast spots than this IHOP, just had an ideal location right next to our hotel. I would also like to add that this IHOP is overpriced, but that’s is expected being in such a touristy area.

I purchased a one night with groupon since it says Niagara Falls view. Just a place to stay for the night… But to my disbelief I couldn’t see the Falls, just a portion of the water. Well still it was cheaper than purchasing it in Canadian side.
When checking in they give you some free coupons which you must read, they give you a certain percentage off in some fine dining restaurants but you must purchase 2 entrees prior to obtaining the discount in the restaurant. IHOP discount beware as per reviews so I opted to eat outside for breakfast.
The place is ok, my room was clean. Theres a coffee maker without any filter in the room.
The free wifi was good. The only thing, I paid $ 21.00 for parking and taxes… Which I wasn’t told that parking was not free.
It’s still a good deal with groupon!

I had an extremely gratifying stay at this Hotel. The hotel was cozy, inviting and clean.
The staff was welcoming and polite. It would have been nice to have gotten information on places to go in Canada, without having to grill the staff. Maybe if they provide a map of the area and hot spots to visit. I learned though out my stay that not speaking to stranger’s (even if they are tourists) is the Canadian culture. But when you are in the Hotel industry, interacting with your guest is just simply Hotel 101.
I earnestly recommend this Hotel. It is approximately a 10 minute beautiful walk to the Niagara Falls and all the nice restaurants are within the area.
The groupon deal was fantastic. Nonetheless, I learned that the coupons provided where not worth it. As the places the groupons offered where overpriced.
NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO beautiful, I can’t wait to go back…
Oh, make sure the Hotel releases the hold they put on your credit card. I’ve checked out 4 days ago and hold is still on my VISA.
