The Tower Hotel

I just had my wedding at the Tower Hotel. There were 30 guests and Cynthia did an amazing job. She made it so easy to have my wedding there. The place was recently remodeled and it looks amazing.
Our guests really enjoyed themselves. The food was amazing. The views are breath-​taking. Cant say thank you enough!

We book in November and stayed in mid January and paid 250 with parking… room was fairly clean but very dated, the shower head was busted and reno in bath was rough job. no space to put your stuff in there. Room had a big cabinet to hold your clothes and coats and fridge and microwave and 27 in broken tube tv, all on a 45 degree angle away from the bed. So tv remote didn’t work unless you got out of bed or leaned down to the foot, lol… shockingly the bed saged slightly in the middle and was annoying! No coffee maker in the room and very apathetic staff, my wife booked off their website and it didn’t show tube tvs or broken showers with no light…

This hotel is a quaint experience amid the flash of Niagara Falls. Absolutely delightful in so many ways — great views, pleasant staff, extremely clean rooms decorated in a hybrid art deco style. Lots of closet space, a refridge, micro wave and name brand lotions and more in the very large bathroom were all appreciated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, if I got the great rate used on this trip.
But, there are some simple things missing. No coffee maker in the room and no coffee provided by the hotel. The nice little hotel café closes after lunch, so it’s a cold December trek to the nearby hotels for Starbuck for a coffee late in the day or in the evening. Only one towel per person and only one wash cloth (surely a housekeeping error) when we checked in. The lighting was unbalanced resulting in a gloomy night time atmosphere. But, then again we did not really want much light in the room because…
The hotel is uncomfortably located next to a larger multistoried hotel when in an American Falls view room. I could see what people were watching on TV, and I’m pretty sure they could see everything we were doing in a room with a wall made of windows. In fact a friend who stayed in the hotel next door reported unwittingly seeing all kinds of things in the Tower Hotel across the way.
Still the location and novelty element of this lovely hotel combined with the staff that was well trained, friendly and informed about the area made all else melt away. I wish I could be there now!

This hotel is so fantastic! Location is excellent. It’s about a 15 – 20 minute walk away from Clifton Hill and it’s a 5 minute walk from Fallsview Casino. You can take a gondola which is right behind the hotel which will take you pretty much in front of the Canadian falls.
Now for the important part, the room. I just got back from Niagara Falls today and I already miss it. It’s not the largest but I only went with my boyfriend and for 2 people, it is the perfect size. We got a city view room with a queen sized bed (the cheapest option). The window was very large, pretty much encompassed the wall. Even though it was advertised as city view, you can see the American falls and at night, you can fully see the fireworks on the nights that they launch them. It was such an incredible surprise since we weren’t planning to go out on a cold November night to watch them. Just a warning though, the Embassy rooms are right across and you can very clearly see into the rooms. This also means they can just as clearly see into yours, especially at night with your lights on.
Other than that, the room was beautiful. It was modern and so very very clean. I rarely can go into a hotel and walk around barefoot. The bathroom was lovely and the tub/​jacuzzi was very large. It was also very quiet. Obviously, we went during off season so that was a factor, but it was still very pleasant. It’s also one of the cheaper hotels. (An average of $ 100 a night compared to other hotels in that area that can go from $ 150-​$ 200). Naturally, with the fewer number of rooms and the competitive pricing, vacancy disappears pretty quickly. My only regret is that I didn’t get to try their restaurant, which I heard was pretty great too. They’re closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We loved our unique room. The view was hands down the best thing about it. Simply mind blowing how great it was. The rooms are tiny and odd shaped because you are in a circular shaped structure. Don’t overpack! The bed was super comfy and the room was clean.
We were on the penthouse floors. After taking up the main elevator, you’ll have a key to access the small penthouse floors elevator. Tiny and crowded but I’m claustrophobic and it didn’t bother me at all.
Valets park your car off-​site but are quick to retrieve them. We really felt special our whole time there. Highly recommended, especially if you’ve stayed at the same old hotels over and over in the past.

This was a great experience for a romantic getaway. The view from our room was incredible, especially since we paid for the city view and could still see a lot of the falls. The staff was friendly, the lobby was swank, and everything was very clean. All in all, this was a wonderful experience!

Really nice hotel with a friendly staff, valet parking is available and the rooms have a great view of the falls. Close to many shops too

We tried to make a reservation here for my birthday weekend. We encountered an experience with the manager of the hotel wherein we received the worst customer service when trying to resolve a booking issue. We canceled the entire reservation and found a lovely hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff in a room that overlooks the falls. I would never stay at nor recommend The Tower Hotel. In an industry where customer service should be the number one priority, The Tower Hotel fails at treating guests with respect and courtesy. Instead we’re treated with immaturity and and downright cruelty. I’m shocked to encounter such an experience.

Dealing with the manager of this hotel is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! He’s incredibly rude and unprofessional. He won’t listen to problems and hangs up the phone on you. The hotel made a mistake with the information they gave me. I called to clear it up. He wouldn’t even listen to me. He proceeded to talk over me and then hung up on me. I called three times and he did this every time. Do not stay here! Awful! I’ve contacted the corporate owners who are looking into this incident. They even called to apologize for his behavior. Apparently this manager has a history of complaints against him.
(And now I see he’s lying in his response. That’s not what happened. I would have been happy to pay for one night, but he refused to listen to what I was saying on the phone and even said I was lying. He hung up on me multiple times. And now he’s writing false responses. This is not a personal attack on him, rather it’s an honest review of a terrible experience. Look at the history of The Tower Hotel and you can see there’s been consistent complaints against him.)

We were so excited to stay at this hotel as it had great reviews and the pictures looked great. The view from the room of the falls was spectacular. Everything else was sub par. The staff was nice, but not very helpful. The valet service offered no help with our bags. We had to travel in a hotel van to get to our car in a parking lot a few blocks down when we asked to get something out of it. There was no room service available.
The hotel décor was very cool and modern, but the room was so small we barely had any room to put our luggage. The bathroom was also extremely small and outdated. For the price we paid to stay here, we were not very pleased with the overall service and quality of the hotel. If we had to go back we would most likely stay at a hotel with a view that is a better deal.

We stayed at the Tower Hotel on a 20% off in late December.
The view from our deluxe room (2809) was incredible. We could see the whole falls and it lent itself to some great photography practice with my DSLR (see uploaded photos for a sense of the view you can get).
Aside from this the hotel itself was fairly standard; nothing amazing nor substandard. We didn’t eat in the café/​restaurant so I can’t comment on that.
One tip I would give is to not get suckered into the $ 20 a night parking. Go to the Falls View Casino car park about 5 minutes walk down the road and pay $ 5 a night instead and put the money you save into shopping at the excellent Niagara Falls Outlet Collection at Niagara on the lake.

Can’t say enough. Prices, view, staff, room. Could not have been better. Oh my gosh!!!

Amazing boutique hotel with a great view of niagra falls (if you ask for the right view, which we did).
The view at sunrise and sunset of the falls outside the wall to wall windows was unforgettable.
The modern feel and décor of this place was way more appealing to me and my wife over say the Marriott or embassy suites and other choices nearby.
The rates were pretty reasonable all things considered. we booked the same day via their front desk since we had our phones on airplane mode to not rack up a cell bill we didn’t call in advance or book through a third party site like
of Expedia,
Looking for a nice boutique hotel with a great view of the best waterfalls in the world then look no further.
The restaurant Marilyn’s bistro has amazing food and service so you won’t be running around town looking for a great meal.
The only thing stopping me from five stars would be the room accommodations. We often stay at SPG or Hyatt locations so we are used to getting a minibar and larger mounted flat screens. We had a nice flat panel 36 inch or so, and had a fridge and all, again not a game changer but had to hold back the fifth star for that one.

Just on the view alone this place is worth all 5 stars. I had a full falls view that was absolutely breath taking, even better when they had fireworks in the evening. The room is not large by any stretch of the imagination, but it had a large circular bed, desk, mini fridge and a decent sized bathroom. Place was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Parking is $ 20 per day so keep that in mind if you’re driving there.

Very happy we found this goofy hotel in Niagara! Stayed for 2 nights this weekend on the 29^th floor, in a «cityview» room.
The hotel is… bizarre. It’s a giant tower (as the name implies), but has just 3 tiny floors of hotel rooms. There’s the lobby (front desk, a «70s style» decorated lounge, and a small café)…then an elevator up to the 25^th-​30^th floors with nothing in between. The 25^th is apparently for events, the 26^th is a restaurant, and the 30^th a mysterious «penthouse.»
The rooms themselves are tiny and simple… but what else do you need in a hotel room? There’s a bathroom, a bed, a TV, a small closet, and a drawer or two. The bed faces a wall-​to-​wall window. We faced away from the falls, so had a nice view of the surrounding areas, but that couldn’t possibly compare to the amazing view the «fallsview» rooms had.
No fridge, iron, etc. But we had plenty of towels and pillows, and decent free wifi, so we were happy.
The restaurant on the 26^th floor is great. We didn’t eat dinner there (though the food looked good and was surprisingly reasonably priced). But we went for drinks and apps both nights. The atmosphere is great, with live music one night and the amazing falls view.
Though check-​in isn’t until 4 PM, we arrived at 11 AM and were moved into an open room right away, which was REALLY nice of them.
One annoying thing is parking — the only option they offer is valet parking for $ 20 per day. We are geniuses, so decided to decline and buy a parking pass a block away at the Comfort Inn for $ 10. You can also park at the casino down the street for $ 5/​day.
Definitely not the place for families, kids, etc, mostly because the rooms won’t fit any more than 2. But as a relatively affordable but nice hotel in a great location, this was perfect for us.

I looked at so many hotels before booking this one and I was VERY pleased with my stay. The hotel was easy to find, clean, and nicely updated. The room wasn’t huge, but I also didn’t think it was small, either. I thought it was very adequate for 2 people. It had a fridge, microwave, wardrobe, etc. And the view was AWESOME.
I stayed in Room 2802 and couldn’t have been happier. Almost floor to ceiling windows except for a sitting ledge and they ran the entire length of the wall. The way they were angled outward made you feel even closer to the Falls. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The staff were AWESOME, from the super friendly valets to the very helpful front desk staff. They even offered to find a store to fix my flat tire and offered to print directions for me to get there.
The only complaint I had was that their WiFi wasn’t very impressive. It was hard to keep a connection sometimes.
I would make sure to be there on a Friday or Sunday because you can see the wonderful fireworks over the falls right from the comfort of your room. It was WELL worth the extra money to get the Falls View room instead of the City View room. I would absolutely stay here again if I am in the area.

Amazing views, amazing service, just fabulous! The valet, Dennis, is very knowledgable and recommended non-​touristy restaurants and events. We had dinner at the restaurant, Marilyn’s, and had a beautiful breathtaking view with amazing food! Everything was close by and waking up to the falls is the only way to wake up here.
I saw some people said the rooms were small– duh! This is not a normal hotel. There are only so many rooms and the odd shape will obviously lead to weird shaped rooms. Clean, spacious enough for my boyfriend and I, great bathroom and seriously the view… can you really complain?
$ 20 /​day valet parking is a downside, but Dennis was so helpful, including drawing us a map to help us find our way around and giving us great advice on how to get to Toronto (take the Go from abbleby!). We had an amazing time thanks to the hotel!

This place is good for its view. Stayed here for 2 nights. Had an amazing view from the bed. The rooms are clean and such as expected from a 4 star hotel. But that’s about all it has going. Rooms are tiny. Furniture and appliances are aging. The TV in the room was an old 20″ tube TV that had a broken power button. Not what I expected from a hotel of this class. At least the room had a microwave.

I stayed at the tower hotel for two nights this past weekend. We got city view on the 29^th floor.
Pros: The view was beautiful. The window was from wall to wall. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff were friendly.
Cons: As you probably read in the other review the rooms were tiny it was quite crammed and a bit awkward. The bed face the window and the TV was off to the side. The tv’s are very getto it’s the one with the huge backs. The buttons on the TV don’t work, in fact the power button was broken. There were two remote controls one to turn on the tv and the other to change the channels or the volume (using the remote control that turns on the tv make sure the channel is on 3, otherwise it won’t work). We had to call the lobby to figure out how the tv works. My boyfriend was quite annoyed.
They have a hand held shower it was okay but the water pressure sucked. There’s shelf outside of the shower to put your shampoo and soap so that was a bit awkward as well. So I just put all my shower toiletries on the floor.
There is free wifi but the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms.
They only had valet parking for $ 20/​day. The parking is located elsewhere so it was inconvenient. You won’t have access to your car. So instead we parked at fallsview casino which is just down the street.(5 min walk), If you get a players advantage card parking is free if you play at the casino (which we planned to do anyway). There’s not minimum amount you have to spend at the casino which is great. Just make sure you swipe your card if you play at the tables or insert your card at the slot machines and your parking will be free. The players advantage card is free as well. So I do suggest you to do that instead of paying $ 20/​day. Some ppl say you have to win one point at the casino or spend minimum of $ 20 at the casino in order to get parking for free. That is NOT true.
They don’t have a coffee maker but they have a mini fridge and microwave which doesn’t really make sense to me. And they don’t have a safe box.
So in conclusion this hotel is okay. It’s more for the view. If you don’t care for the view than I would suggest you to stay elsewhere. it’s not family friendly it’s more directed for couples.

I was very pleased with this hotel. Customer service was great– we had 1 mechanical issue in our room which was fixed immediately– valet parking was fine and reasonable compared to other area hotels and attractions at $ 20 a day; even better is the location which allowed us to walk to all the area attractions or use the bus which stops at the hotel. We paid for a view of the falls and it was so awesome– gorgeous views the whole time of both the Canadian and American falls. I also enjoyed the restaurant attached to the lobby which was delicious, quick, fresh and reasonably priced.
The downsides were that the room was incredibly small and they only had 1 washcloth in our room.
