We are a specialty compounding pharmacy in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. We can prepare customized medications to meet the individual needs of each patient. Our specialties include bio-identical hormone therapies, gluten-free medications, custom natural health products, veterinary preparations, pain management and scar treatment.
Our pharmacy serves the downtown heritage district of Niagara on the Lake and the thousands of visitors that flock to our town every year. Therefore, in addition to compounding, we stock a complete selection of commercially available prescription products, over-the-counter remedies, vitamins and natural health products, health and beauty aids, batteries and camera supplies, snack foods and drinks and everything else you might need. If we don’t have it, we’ll get it. If we can’t get it, we’ll tell you where you can.
We also offer a Kodak photo-finishing kiosk so you can turn your digital images into prints.
History
Established in 2010.
Simpson’s Apothecary Pharmasave opened its doors on May 10, 2010. Recognizing a void in the downtown heritage district, the Simpson family decided to expand their pharmacy business in order to better serve those who live, work and visit the prettiest town in North America.
This downtown location offers a nice complement to Simpson’s larger store on Niagara Stone Road. In addition to offering the convenience of traditional pharmacy goods and services, this location also features Niagara-on-the-Lake’s only PCCA custom compounding pharmacy.

Sean S.
Business Owner
Sean Simpson graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Pharmacy in 2006. He assumed ownership of Simpson’s Pharmacy and Simpson’s Apothecary in 2010. Sean was trained in specialty compounding at Professional Compounding Centres of America (PCCA) in Houston, Texas. Sean lives in Niagara on the Lake with his beautful family.
