Two Sisters Vineyards

Great food and wine, especially beef carpaccio and the grilled octopus, great service.

I came here with a group of 12 with reservations. The location and building honestly blew my mind away, with elegant trees lining up alongside a long driveway made a spectacular first impression.
The waitress we had was very accommodating, sweet, and knowledgeable about the wines and food. I ordered the Burrata cheese as an appetizer– there wasn’t the most taste in the cheese, but the seasoning of the bread and tomatoes balanced the cheese very well. The riesel ice wine was very sweet and well-​made. It was a bit pricy at $ 11 for a 1oz glass of wine, but considering the quality of the food and ambience, it almost made sense since these were wines that they had made themselves.
I ended up ordering the Pesto Pizza since I didn’t want something too meat heavy. It was fairly good, but nothing too too significant. I sampled some of my friend’s dishes — the lamb shanks, chicken, and rabbit ragu — and they were excellent! The chicken was moist, and the lamb was so tender it almost melted in your mouth.
I had an excellent time there and the waitress was sweet. The only thing was that service was a bit slow and other tables that came after us had received their meals first. But considering we had a group of 12, it was understanding!
Overall, it’s a great place to take a date or even a group of friends. If my wallet allowed it, I’d definitely come back fairly soon!

Although one of Niagara-​on-​the-​Lakes newer wineries, Two Sisters is quickly becoming the winery to visit with their striking building, restaurant and wine tasting room. Truly one of the most architecturally unique wineries I’ve ever seen, with a gothic vibe, some might say Italian Monastery, making it both beautiful and timeless. And who doesn’t love a sister success story?! I highly recommend putting Two Sisters Vineyards on your winery tour list, if only to cast your eyes upon how stunning the building is visually. They have an absolutely beautiful, covered patio at the back of the winery with full service and inside seating for their restaurant (Kitchen76) which unfortunately I wasn’t able to try on this visit. The tasting room mirrors the magnitude of the rest of the winery: dark, romantic lighting but large and inviting. We chuckled to ourselves as we were waited on by Twin Sisters! They’ve really taken the sister-​theme to the next level. So stop in to have your tastebuds tingled and your eyes widened by the beauty and magnitude that is Two Sisters.
