Cheap, but not inspired to return I’m afraid. It’s very dark, a bit divey, and service was not great. Food was not bad for the price, but only not bad.

Great for aomeone on a budget who still wants to dine out. That being said the service is either a hit or a miss. If you get the older blonde woman don’t expect her to check on your table at all. The male server is very attentive and personable. The food is sufficient in flavour with a little salt but the portion sizes are ridiculously large, for the price. Overall an ok place would only recommend if you’re on a budget or too drunk too care.

I order food here at least once a month for delivery when I’m at work. Last night I got the souvlaki. I couldn’t decide if I wanted beef or chicken so they gave me one of each. Thank you. I asked for no rice since I’m cutting down on carbs and they sent an extra Greek salad at no extra charge. I loved that. Thank you again. The meat was cooked perfectly and juicy. Again happy. They’re really trying to step up their game. I only wish I could order vegetables like broccoli or spinach or something like that with my food. When I work long days I eat breakfast lunch and dinner at work and I don’t always have time to cook dinner in the morning. Thanks for the great food!

This was a great place to eat or order from but it is going downhill fast!!! Would not recommend ordering unless you want to wait an hour and a half or longer and your food arrives COLD

I like to go here once every three or four years just to remind myself how terribly mediocre it is. The food isnt terribly good, but the portions are gigantic. The service is always awful; even paying the bill is a mess sometimes. I will give the pizza a thumbs up, so long as you love way too much cheese.

Ordered take out dinner the other night. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, my husband had Chicken Cordon Blue. My pasta had a pubic looking hair in it. My husband had a VERY raw chicken. I called to complain but they were hardly apologetic. Offered me credits to the restaurant but I never want to eat here again. Ever. Very disgusted. Reported to the health board.

I;ve been here over 25 times since the eighties. Its got large portions, the pizza has lots of cheese, the ribs and steak come with a whole lasagna! Unfortunately its so hit and miss. Best to only go when your drunk, for some reason its usually pretty good then. The service is always shitty but I think that’s probably because the owners and the staff are all crack pots! Some nights it can be so bad its comical. The lady who owns the place might not be a lady, she has the deepest voice I, ve ever heard. When she starts yelling at the staff her greek accent gets stronger. Around that time order some shots and you might think you’ve been dropped onto the set of a David lynch movie! Oh Yeah, when you leave they give you a whole loaf of fresh baked bread if your early.

6pm dinner and every customer is wearing a coat. Staff are all wearing sweaters! It’s freezing in here. Asked our waitress — the boss locks the air conditioning on. Guess he doesn’t trust his own staff & that’s never a good sign. Food OK but got cold before we finished. Waitress too busy to check on us so we took remaining pizza to check out where we paid & left. This place continually disappoints.

Had not been here in years. Fixture on the North Shore. Waited forever for any service when waitress came she had major attitude and was clearly stressed out. Waited 30 minutes for a glass is wine. Apologetic busboy came over to explain there were only 2 wait staff but it wasn’t very busy. She had one big table. We waited an hour for our food. Asked for bread it never arrived. Witnessed our waitress crying to owner because table behind us complained. Not exactly the family meal and fun night out we were looking forward to. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. Food was good not great, once it came. Cheap. Owners cruised around talking to regulars but not helpful to stressed out waitress. The table behind us gave her no tip we still tipped her 18% because we felt sorry for her. We won’t be back. Will keep the great memories of this place from the 80’s.

This place is a relic of days gone by, which normally is super exciting to me. It looks like the décor hasn’t changed in 40 years. There is still a cigarette machine(A CIGARETTEMACHINE) at the front of the place(although cigarettes are now $ 14.00, not 25 cents). There is a woman who might be one of Marge Simpson’s sisters, with a gravelly voice and snarky attitude to match, who sits at the front desk. My date, who has been visiting all his life, says the menu hasn’t changed in 20 years. All signs point to me thoroughly enjoying this time warp. Meh — maybe I’m not a greek fan? Not sure. I ordered the chicken souvlaki. Portion was huge — two large skewers of chicken — too much for me to eat. Unfortunately, the chicken was underdone, which is always a turnoff for me and all too common with souvlaki — so I only picked at the well done bits on the outside. The souvlaki came with a generous portion of rice, vegetables, and tzatsiki and weirdly the largest, puffiest piece of garlic toast I have ever seen. So — I didn’t go hungry. The house white wine was OK. So yeah, it was all OK. But I wasn’t in raptures, either. Our server was very attentive — almost too attentive — wanting to know what we wanted to order no more than 15 seconds(literally) after we’d sat down. Given the pure kitschiness of it all, I’d be up for trying it again, but might choose something else from the menu? I thought eating Greek was the best way to go at a Greek restaurant, but from what I understand the pizza and pasta may be more reliable an option.

Crap always has been always will be but hey if you don’t believe me just shake hands with the owner at the door as he always does after wiping his ass after going to the washroom. Did I forget to mention that the owner doesn’t wash his hands after using the washroom, how do I know cause I used to work there and caught him coming out of the stall on my break then going and doing the meet n greet.

I won’t lie I order chicken strips once in a while because they ARE really good and the honey mustard is thee best. But 1. The past 4 times I have gotten my strips they were cooked beyond the point of being edible. And I haven’t ordered again since. I have been in the resturaunt on a few occasions and every single time was treated absolutely terribly. On one occasision I actually walked out because of how rude the waitress was. Another time we went and sent our food back several times due to it being once overcooked and then once undercooked like im talking raw. On other occasions I have been yelled at on the phone and even hung up on for simply asking questions about portion sizes and amounts. Which was disgraceful. Overall if you want quick take out it is usually in my experience good. But don’t expect to be treated with any respect if you are being served or simply talked to an employee. Order chicken strips and fries, potato skins and calamari if you go

Rudest staff around. And the food is always over cooked. The only thing this restaurant is good for is late night drunk food. And that’s just because it’s usually the only place still open. But back to the rude staff, they do not value their customers, they talk to people like dirt. And this goes for the owners too. Once our food was close to 2 hours late for delivery and when we phoned they did absolutely nothing about it, not even an apology. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Many years ago we used to either dine in or order the big platter coming with the coupon discount by mail. And we’ve been pretty satisfied 2 – 3 times. Not anymore. Since we discovered the last 2 – 3 times(this was several years ago) the Greek salad partially frozen and most of the food looking like not too fresh, like something someone pulled out from the freezer just minutes ago. They also had some problems with their personal over there, I don’t know. Once the guy I was talking with over the phone was very rude and asked me to pay in advance, don’t know why. When I complained to the owner, she was very understanding and angry at his employee. But things didn’t seem to improve… Last time there we tried to dine in. The restaurant was almost empty, but after waiting so much for anyone to come up and take the order, we gave up and left.

We ordered a pizza from here quite awhile ago but when the pizza finally arrived(it was more than 2 hours late) it was stone cold! So we decided to call the manager to let him know about the incident and he yelled on the phone and got very angry then hung up!!! NEVERORDERFROMANDREAS!!!

Came here for a work party and most people in the group were fairly satisfied with their orders. My husband had the lamb souvlaki and found it very flavourful and tender. I ordered the New York strip and although done just a tad more than medium rare, it was still very tasty, and very generously portioned. Another gentleman at our table had ordered his beef souvlaki well-done, and it came to him medium, which wasn’t the best for him, as his plate was also the last to be delivered to the table by about 15 minutes(the restaurant was very busy). Our server was apologetic for the mistake and I could tell she was trying her best to serve both the large party as well as other customers in the restaurant. I saw many take-out orders flying out the door so it looks popular with the locals.

This definitely isn’t a place I would recommend for a first-date or special occasion unless you have been here before and come here specifically for the food. The place is pretty dated looking and the tableware isn’t very nice. The service is hit and miss I think… my parents are regulars here, so they get treated really well. Twice when I’ve come here for lunch, however, I’ve had to wait a long time to be seated despite the fact that the restaurant was pretty empty. What keeps me coming back to Andreas is the food and the value. The baked ravioli and lasagna are reeallly good and you get a lot for $ 9.95… I always leave with a doggy bag. The lasagna on the lunch menu is even cheaper… $ 5.99 I believe? It’s a smaller portion than the one on the dinner menu but still a good size. The garlic bread is huge… it’s greasy but good. I also enjoy their pizza. I’ve never had their Greek food but it seems to be popular and is also a good value. They are open till 3:00am and deliver, which is really convenient.

Our household has a love/hate relationship with Andreas. Note: We’ve never actually been to Andreas physical location– the multiple times we’ve tried it have always been by takeout. We’ve never tried their pizza, either, we typically go Greek. IF Andrea’s is having an on night(a sadly rare occurrence) and doesn’t mess up your order or take an hour + fifteen minutes to deliver(long past what they promise), then it can be decent. Nothing to write home to mom about, but the portions are huge and somewhat satisfying. You’re not just ordering dinner with how much food that arrives though, you’re ordering dinner and lunch for the next day. That’s one of two things saving it from a 1 star review. IF they do deliver it late(a frequent occurrence on busy weekends), expect limpy food that will need some time under a broiler to bring it back to life. IF they mess up your order and deliver something incorrect(which has happened to us twice), they are actually pretty good about redelivering what you originally intended them to on top of letting you keep the mix up. And at that point you pretty much have enough food to feed you for days. So, bonus? Kinda? The other thing that’s saving Andreas from a 1 star review? They deliver until pretty late– we’re talking 2AM. So, when you’re up late having too many drinks and are craving something without having to go anywhere, their takeout fits the bill.

I got my loaf of bread. We’ve been back twice since and I’ve been given a loaf each time. Food was still good and service was better… she actually offered me a refill instead of waiting for me to ask. That’s huge for me… We ordered the same food as last time because I am no fan of change. We still didn’t eat all the pizza and I brought it home for leftovers.
