Buddha-Full

This place had many options for Smoothies and Juices. The food is limited. we ordered Green Smoothie it was very good. we couldn’t finish the smoothie the quantity is good, we took the rest in to-​go cup. We ordered a chick peas wrap and a panini sandwich. The salad which comes with the wrap/​sandwich was very good and fresh! We would highly recommend this place for Vegans like us :)

PSA to anyone who works out at John Braithwaite. This place is literally a block away and offers the best protein shakes in the world. This is my favourite part of hitting the stacks. My BF always gets the LOBO (peanut butter and bananas and protein) but you really can’t go wrong with any of the flavours. I’ve tried a bunch and have yet to.
That being said, this place is pretty pricey but honestly that’s to be expected. It’s super hipster though, so if you can’t get over that then… oh well.

I will bring my family and friends for lunch. When they visit my home. There are so many amazing organic juices and stuff. Love love love!

This is one of few vegan places on the North Shore, so it gets points for that. It’s a casual café-​type place where you order from the bar. They have vegan wraps, sandwiches, chili, and smoothies. The wraps /​sandwiches can be ordered with side salads for the fairly high price of $ 11 – 12 (quite pricey given what you get). Worth checking out if searching for vegan fare on the Shore.

This is hilarious for me, but maybe not for you.
I have been in that place a half a dozen times — pop in and ask directions, get a name, find the business I was looking for, take a peek around, look at the menu. OMG! What is it about this place that I cannot get myself to spend money? Rent is high… so I forgive them. I think I was around this type of food growing up and I pretty much have made all the juces and smoothes before at home… the cost of them is a litle expensive and I don’t think organic, but I could be wrong. The desserts may taste better than they look, but why are raw and vegan desserts always halloweeny or overly dumpster truck rustic style? they look scary and I feel indigestion just reading the mixed up ingredients. I would rather treat myself to something purely fatty but good that I made or bought at a organic place, rather than eat this… or at least eat a date or banana not a concotion of stuff that pretends to taste good. last time I had brownie with beets I almost barfed at this restaurant and some girl at a picnic decided raw dark chocolate, greens and avocado pie tastes good (no bananas, nothing). Anyway, the only other thing is that huge dogs are allowed inside… that turned me off altogether. I still cannot understand how food and fleas/​tapeworms/​parasites are ok to mix in some people’s minds… but oh well.
In general… if you see me peeking in again, offer a sample and maybe I’ll bite ;)
I’m glad nonetheless that this type of business exists and I would rather have this than another franchise or department store.
Emile down there on the reviews says $ 7.95 is expensive for a piece of pie — check yoru restaurants out there. same price for crap though.

Buddha-​Full makes a bunch of great smoothies and snacks serving the North Vancouver Lonsdale area. The veggie samosa I had was pretty darn delicious, and my boyfriend had the grilled cheese panini which he quite enjoyed. The service was friendly and the staff seemed like they were eager to help anyone with questions.
All that being said, the prices were quite high. For a sandwich and a smoothie, you’re easily looking at over $ 20. It’s a rich neighbourhood, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. Still, I left feeling like I didn’t get very good value for my money. If that’s not a huge concern for you, then Buddha-​Full is a 5 star establishment. For me, the lack of value makes it a 4.

Best vegan place on the North Shore… Unfortunately there isn’t a ton of competition, but even if there were I’m sure Buddha-​Full would be kicking their butts. :P
Where to start? I’ve been going to Buddha-​Full on and off since they first opened up shop. Back then it was just because I enjoyed the occasional smoothie/​fresh juice and they were nearby. They have a huge menu with an awesome selection, use high quality ingredients and are happy to substitute anything without issue.
Recently I’ve transitioned to full vegan and started trying their non-​smoothie foods. I have to say, their stuff is good but the pakoras and baked samosas are absolutely fantastic. They throw them in a panini press and serve them with a delicious dipping sauce… DIVINE! It’s now become part of my «day off» ritual to stop by with my dog toward the end of our morning walk for a bite to eat.
The décor is awesome — very funky and welcoming. There is a neat little merchandise area in the middle of the shop with lots of local or artisan products. The staff and owners are so incredibly nice and often very engaging in friendly conversation. They also do open mic nights and occasional documentary screenings. Definitely a shining star in the LoLo community.

This is my kind of good nutritious, delicious food! Had Buddha nut burgers and pumpkin curry soup. YUM!

AMAZING smoothies and service. I got the ultimate nutrition smoothie (by reccomendation of the girl behind the counter) and it was exactly what I needed. I will definitely be back for another one, and to try the delicious — looking veggie pakoras.

Wow! The smoothies here are to die for! I couldn’t decide! I got The Lobo and so did everyone in line in front of me. Small but good selection of food (both raw and cooked) It has a lot of seating, cool shirts/​goods/​etc. the juices looked great too! I will be back

Love, love, loveee their smoothies. If you haven’t tried them already you should definitely go. I’ve also had their samosas, Brie and roasted red pepper panini (or whatever-​I can’t remember), and their salad on the side. Which was the bomb dot com. Go to Buddha-​ful now!

Perfect smoothies every time! Creamy, smooth, taste every ingredient listed out, no chunks of ice. 100%!! Hot drinks are equally perfect especially their Chai Latte :9
I do agree with it being quite pricey though, however, I just see it as a nice and healthy way to treat myself every once in a while :)
PS. Their Curry Wrap is really good; remember to ask for it grilled!

The food is good, and the smoothies are awesome but the prices are… abysmal. I understand the food is organic and raw, but $ 7.95 for a tiny slice of cake? A bit expensive if you live the student lifestyle.
I like the idea of eating healthier but at these prices, I’m going to make a run to McDonald’s the next time I’m hungry.

This place is extremely expensive– paid $ 8 for a smoothie. I think a lot of the appeal is based on the «trendiness» of the place itself. I’ve had a couple different drinks, I tried the popular one love juice and didn’t find it very good at all, its a nice place for those who are vegan for sure but I think I’ll stick to my booster juice.

Love The Healer hot drinks, great for colds. Yummy smoothies and GF baked goods. What an amazing little place here in LoLo.

Love the vibe, ambiance and the staff. Love their food even more. My favourite is the eggplant/​chickpea wrap and of course most of the smoothies and all juices. Love their selection of lose leaf tea… Have enjoyed a cup a few times on a rainy Vancouver day. Their coffee is from a local organic roaster and the only thing I wish they had would be whole milk. But I do understand their concept… Lovely job people. Keep on doing what you do. We love you!

Great smoothies and sandwiches friendly staff. I had the I had the Lobo smoothies and a toasted vegetable sandwich they were both amazing.
My only complaint was I was the only one in there and the staff just put them on the glass top away from where I was standing rather than had it to me.
I will be a return customer.

If I lived closer, as I once did, I would visit her every day… but even limited to once or twice a week, the service is always the same: buddha-​full. :D

Went in to Buddha-​Full today for lunch.
The staff were friendly and quite knowledgeable.
The building is nestled just off of Lonsdale, and the decoration inside is quite trendy.
As a non vegan I can attest that the food tasted fantastic and fresh.
I will be back for their beat and nut «burger!»

Totally delicious and totally healthy place for food. Not all the food is raw either, they do offer some hot soup options too.
We tried the common ground and the lobo smoothie. Both incredibly delicious. The common ground was a fruity strawberry tasting smoothie that wasn’t overly sweet and tasted like real strawberries. The lobo was a creamy and peanut buttery smoothy that was rich and tasted like dessert in a cup. Both were fresh and amazing. The flavour was rich and real tasting because they use real food for their ingredients. I am so particular about my smoothies because most places offer artificial flavors from mixes and syrups. Yuck. Not at Buddhaful, everything here is made from real food!
We also tried two desserts:
–The chewy chocolate cookie was really disappointing. Not only was it not chewy, it was dry and hard… Tasted more than a day old maybe because I made the mistake and got the cookie to go, so they gave me one of the pre-​wrapped cookies which wasn’t as fresh as the ones sitting out unwrapped.
–Minty, Chocolate cake: Awesome. It resembled a McCain chocolate cake but it sure tasted amazing… Moist, flavourful, and chocolately with the perfect amount of mint. I highly recommend this treat.
They had a huge variety of vegetarian food options as well, Raw and cooked, including pizzas, wraps, salads, chili, burgers, and of course many other desserts, smoothies, and juices. I’ll definitely be back to try their lunch and hot soup!
