R2R offers personal traing and group workout sessions for runners, runners-​to-​be or other athletes involved in a sport that requires them to run or sprint. You will improve your strength, joint stability, posture and coordination to run safely and more efficiently.

History

Established in 2011.

Ready2Run was created as an answer to the need for sport-​specific training dedicated to runners. There are many running clubs out there that focus on helping people build the cardiovascular fitness required to continuously run for 5 km, 10 km or more. But there are no trainers out there exclusively dedicated to helping runners acquire all the other elements of fitness required to run efficiently and safely: strength, balance, coordination, technique and even agility (for trail running).

That’s where Ready2Run comes to provide this much needed service. Want to take on running, but not the high risk of injury that can come with it? R2R is here to help. Business Owner

Karin has always been passionate about fitness, health, and sports science. It was only a question of getting BCRPA-​certified before she progressed from sharing tips with friends to training beginner and competitive amateur athletes alike. She has been working as a group fitness and weight training instructor since 2011 and is a competitive BC Athletics runner racing both on trails and on the track.
