Established in 2008.
I have been baking ever since I can remember. I have always found the process of baking fulfilling and it just seemed to come to me naturally. I started cake decorating 7 years ago, when my sister announced she was getting married. I volunteered to make the cake. I haven’t looked back since!
In 2006, I discovered I was celiac. Initially, I gave up baking. I couldn’t eat wheat flour so what was the point? But after one year on the celiac diet, and having tried a variety of the products available, I realized what a great need existed for tasty gluten-free treats. That was enough to spur me on to return to baking and of course decorating.
With a background in museum exhibit design and a certificate in floral design, decorating cakes was something that just came naturally. Combining these professional skills, my love of baking, and my acute attention to details, I created The Sweet Tooth Cakery.
