Stopped in for coffee and a snack after a bike ride to the bank, I needed to make change to do my laundry. First time I stopped in here… I plan on going by every Sunday — great experience sitting on the Patio

I’m surprised no one has started reviews for this specific location as it seems pretty much every other location has their own reviews.(Plus it has been open for at least a couple of years). Oh well. This is my go to Bridgehead location, mainly because it is the closest one to where I live in Nepean.(Come on Bridgehead, please open up so more locations further west!!! Pretty please!!!). But I like this location a lot so I don’t mind going to it. One of the reasons I like it a lot is that it is one of, or the best, laid out location. It is spacious and you flow well from where you order to where you pick up.(As compared to the Bridgehead down the road beside MEC which is one that I like the least since it is small and has you crammed in by the back to pick up your coffee). I also like this place because if I go on Friday, they seem to have the beans that were roasted on the Wednesday of that week which is, from what I have been told, the freshest you can get them(two days after they are roasted), so I can go on a Friday and have fresh beans for the weekend. The last few times I have been to the Roastery on Somerset, their beans have been too old(one week) which is funny considering they roast them there. The people are friendly which is also a plus. So those are the pluses for this particular location. Of course, you’ll get the same product more or less no matter which location you go to and whether you like their coffee or not is up to personal preference. But for me, they are my go to coffee shop for lattes. Starbucks still has me though for their chai lattes though. USEFULINFO: — Parking here is limited. They only give you three spots on Golden avenue. And for some unknown reason, it is a no parking zone on Byron for about two blocks. I’ve gotten a ticket once and while there on a Saturday morning, the traffic cops were giving tickets to a bunch of cars that had parked there as well. So, best bet is that if you are running in to have someone in the car to save the ticket. Or, try parking on Golden south of Byron. There are a few spots beside the lawn bowling place. Not as much as there was before since they got rid of the angled parking.
