Cheezy Pizza and Pasta

My wife and I are still scouring Ottawa for the best deal in pizza. The other night we tried Cheezy Pizza. Cheezy Pizza is located in Gloucester Centre, a spartan mall just east of the city. One of the ways we like to assess pizza joints is by checking out their slice deals. Cheezy Pizza had a weird one — two slices, a pop and one dipping sauce for $ 6.99 plus tax! Again, rather than lowering the price of their slices, they (like a number of pizza places I’ve seen lately) ramp up the price and then throw in all sorts of extras to compensate. But, $ 6.99 takes the cake. With tax I paid more than $ 7 for very average pizza slices. The crust was very doughy and the sauce invisible. I did get lots of meat, which was a plus. Cheezy Pizza is also a schwarma place, so perhaps that is really their specialty???
