History

Established in 2003.

Concordia operates five facilities in the Ottawa area. Gino and Lilian Grego founded Concordia Body Shop of Ottawa in 1964. The second location, Concordia Collision West, opened for business in July of 2003 as a partnership between Walter Grego (son of the founder) and Don Strong who is the GM of Eastern Ontario. Frank and Guy’s 3 locations were added in 2012.

Walter’s title is that of President. It’s a position he tackles with relish and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Walter took over the company from his father in 1974 and ran the facility as a manager. Walter’s hiatus from the collision repair industry ended in 1996 when he got married and realized that the long hours involved in the entertainment industry were not conducive to family life.

Walter knew that because of his absence from the collision repair scene, there were a lot of new things that he didn’t have information on. That’s when he decided to look into joining the Network.

Meet the Manager

Steve L.

Manager

Steve brings over 20 years of automotive collsion repair and management experience to Concordia Collision west.

Steve is a qualified I-​car glass instructor and holds an I-​car Platinum designation which is the highest level achievable in the industry for training and development. He is passionate about customer service and will go above and beyond the call of duty for his customers.

Steve is also an active volunteer with his church and as a competitive girls minor hockey coach.
