The Fred Guy drivers were very rude and uncooperative. I asked them to please move the truck but they asked me to wait till the delivery is completed. When i explained that I was late to pick up my kids and would appreciated if they could move the truck then complete the delivery, the young man who identified himself as the driver rudely answered that I should have planned to leave early. I then waited 10 minutes for them to move and was late for my kids’ pickup. I reported the incident to the city of Ottawa bylaw office and they opened an incident report and sent a bylaw officer, but he probably arrived after they left.

Someone from Fred Guy, with their moving truck, turned without looking, cut me off on the road and almost caused an accident. I almost swerved off the road avoiding them. I honked my horn to let them know to be more careful and the driver promptly stuck his hand out the window and gave me the middle finger. I’ve never used them to move things but if they show this much respect on the road, I definitely would not trust them with moving my belongings. Go somewhere else.

We had a fridge delivered on the weekend. Two guys moved it up a small twisting set of stairs for us (2.5 floors!). They were very polite, and funny, and they were professional. The two men seemed to work really well together as a team, they were quite prepared.
They even offered us tips for what we could do with other appliances in the future that we replace (ie. Places that we could donate them too).
No complaints! Great job!
