I took 2 eight year old girls here for some fun. Definitely and energetic and dynamic place with great staff and a big area to run around and shoot some people. My only criticism would be it had the distinct odor of young boys feet… lol

This is definitely a fun way to spend a rainy or snowy afternoon! We came here with our Muay Thai class for a student appreciation day and had a blast. There was a large group of us(about 30), ranging in age from about 5 to 50. I’d never played Laser Tag before, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. When you arrive, you sign in and receive a tag. You then all line up and give your tag to a staff member who takes your nickname(some of the kids were hilarious!) and records your number. While we were waiting for all this to happen, the place was absolutely chaos. The staff were talking over the loudspeaker(I’m assuming because it’s so loud with all the kids screaming), and you couldn’t understand anything they were saying. It was a long wait(probably about 45 minutes) before we got our tags, and I don’t know how the kids didn’t lose their minds. Anyway, despite all that, we had a great time once we were in the arena. They put you in a little room that explains the rules and the procedure, and then they release you to get your laser guns and gear. I had a ton of fun running around everywhere and hiding and zapping everyone! It really brings our your inner child, and is a great group activity. You’ll want to avoid this if you don’t have great mobility or have trouble seeing well in the dark, though! At the end of your game(we had two twenty minute games), you are all called to this little platform where they announce the top three players, and you can see your scrore on the screen. They also hand out your score cards so you can see who you hit where, and who hit you. Overall, it’s a fun experience, but don’t go if you’ve got impatient kids, or if you’re in a rush. I also noticed they have adult only nights, and marathon nights, which could be fun!

Who says adults can’t have fun playing childish games? Laser Quest can get quite intense even for adults. Anytime I’ve gone I find that there are kids in the shooting maze as well and they all know the place much better so they usually win. I also find myself having to watch what I say aloud with all the kids around. Hey, it’s not cool getting shot at sniper style by a kid who doesn’t even remember the ’90’s. The facility could probably use a face lift but inside the course it’s dark and feels quite safe yet challenging. I’d recommend this activity for anyone with kids or adults just looking for something a bit different, especially if the weather is really crummy.

Laser Quest is the greatest living video game EVER! It is way cooler than paintball. First, you don’t have to play outside and can avoid rain and chilly weather. Second, you don’t have to put up with getting shot by paint pellets in your neck, your face or other vulnerable areas. I have always had one-eye out for Laser Quest as I drove around Ottawa. But, I never found it. Then, one Saturday, I was driving my son to a birthday party there and found it on St. Laurent — across from the science and transportation museum. You’re probably wondering if I went in to shoot the heck out of some little kids. Hell yeah! Unfortunately, it was me who got the heck shot out of him. Kids these days… The place is HUGE(it is actually half of a giant warehouse) and it is multi-leveled to add an additional degree of excitement. And, you can find your score after the game. I was 26 out of 26. Crap.
