Sawmill Creek Community Centre and Pool

There are six 25m lanes in the pool, a few diving boards of different lengths, a 6-​foot slide, Tarzan rope, and sauna. What’s even better about Sawmill Creek is that it’s accessible and that are also family change rooms, which are a huge deal for parents.
You can take swimming lessons and aquafitness classes for reasonable prices or just go for recreational swimming or wading. Admission is only a few bucks otherwise. There are even youth swim teams and water polo teams that come to practice here.
They have really great and qualified staff and lifeguards to help you out and keep you safe. When I was younger, one of my friend’s had their birthday party here, which included an hour in the pool and an hour in the party room. It’s definitely a fun and different birthday idea! I do have a confession, though — I’m actually really afraid of deep water and I have exercise-​induced asthma (yes, it’s real), but I decided to man up and take swimming lessons, and they were really patient and understanding here.
