Been a few times. Usually have a great time however I was a bit disappointed with our last experience. There was some miscommunication with the frontdesk and our range officer. Just felt the customer service wasn’t up to the usual for them. Overall I will go back because I usually have a good experience with them.

Glen was such a friendly range specialist! He made the experience fun and comfortable for the both of us. Would definitely come back!

Went here with another person on a weekday afternoon. There was not line but we have to wait for a bit for ‘safety’ instructions. It wasn’t our first time shooting handguns so it felt like a was waste of time.
The people I can see enjoying this place the most would be those who have never fired a handgun and are simply looking for a novel experience.
Prices are way more expensive that of ranges in the US but the bad aspect of the experience was that you are not free to load your own mags and move at your own pace. A «range master» loads your gun, moves the targets… I kinda missed the freedom that you feel in other ranges.

This indoor range is pretty impressive, especially if you are planning a group outing. We booked in a group of 10 for a birthday and had an excellent, and more importantly, safe, experience. DVC takes safety very seriously, (who wouldn’t with live round shooting) and provide a great safety briefing and gun 101 at the beginning and then, as we ordered the bronze package ($ 650) we got to try 4 guns with several chances to fire each one, a 9 mm, .40 and .45 as well as a pump action shot gun. We added on the Smith & Wesson for fun and a .22 for the older folks with us to try. Everyone enjoyed the experience and range officers Moe and Derek kept us under watchful eye and made sure we were all safe and being smart about gun use. I’d highly recommend DVC for fun afternoon experience for a group or a few friends.

First time at an indoor shooting range, first time firing a handgun, and it was a great experience. The staff are approachable, understanding, and extremely helpful. I was slightly anxious to handle, load, and fire a 9 mm, but after the safety orientation and helpful tips from the staff I was much more at ease.
When you first get buzzed in (another safety feature I appreciated), there is a case filled with guns that you can choose to shoot — different price points for different styles. As it was our first time there, the staff member helping us recommended two different handguns to share — one heavy and one light — to get a feel for the different kinds of handguns. I learned that all guns are heavy.
I felt safe the entire time at the shooting range (this is very important to me!) and am definitely open to returning! I now feel more qualified to handle a gun in the zombie apocalypse.

Excellent experience overall. Great selection of pistols, shotguns and rifles. The lady at the counter (sry we forgot ur name) was very helpful with picking out appropriate firearms for us. Big shout out to Cyrus Cheng, our range specialist on both of our visits, he’s friendly, funny, and 100% awesome.
This place is friendly, and welcoming for those new to shooting, we would definitely go back again.
p. s. Wednesday is two for one, and Friday is Lady’s night.

As professional as it gets. I have been to a few ranges and I have found DVC to be extremely professional with safety at their forefront. As a returning customer I recommend DVC for an exciting and fun time!

Had a great time shooting 50 rounds with a 9 mm! Ken, our range officer, was amazing! Safety first… follow by loads of fun!
We waited a hour in line, but DVC offered everyone Tim Horton’s and Domino Pizza while we wait! Wicked.

The process:
1. Sign the waver
2. Choose your target
3. Choose your gun (9mm can be used for any 9 mm gun or even RIFLE! Go for the rifle.)
4. Quick training/​orientation session
5. Safety glasses and protective ear muffs
6. Lockers available to store your jackets, etc. (no locks)
7. One staff accompanies your entire experience
We were among the large group of people who had to use up their Groupon this weekend before it expires on March 7^th (the Groupon is valid only on weekdays or Sundays). We got there around 11:45am and there was already a lineup of about 30 people ahead of us, waiting for them to open at 12pm. We waited about 1.5 hours before we finally got in to shoot.
The staff is incredibly helpful, patient and friendly. We had 50 rounds of ammo each and could choose the type of gun to use. We used the rifle (with red dot sight!) and a handgun. The rifle looked really intimidating at first but it was much easier to handle than the handgun (which had a lot of recoil). Our guy was very friendly and watched over all us noobs, keeping everyone safe. Thank you!
This was my first time using a gun and I was a bit nervous prior to coming, and even more nervous as we entered the shooting area. After the whole experience, I’ve realized that I do not like guns. But if YOU do, these guys will take care of you. Great customer service!

Such bad service! Ruined my boyfriend’s birthday. Waited in the cold for so long! At least have some heating system going on.
On top of that unknowledgeable staff, unable to find alternatives for me and my boyfriend, stood there like a dumbass. Overall I’m issuing a refund and telling all my friends to go elsewhere and not to waste their time here.

My father has taken my partner and i shooting often in the states. Since moving to Canada, we haven’t been. When my mother in law came to visit we decided to go on a rainy day and i didn’t really know what to expect.
The employees are super knowledgeable and patient! Our instructor was there, willing and able to answer any and all questions. This was my MIL’s 1^st time shooting, she was super nervous and he was very understanding of this.
We shot 2 different hand guns and an AR-​15, super fun! For the 3 of us and 2 boxes of 9 mm bullets it was about $ 150ish.
Only downfall is the wait. We waited outside in the cold/​rain for about 20 min before being able to come inside and waiting another 15 or so minutes. I do think the wait is worth it, you’ll definitely enjoy yourself!

I went here with my husband for his Birthday and it was awesome! Iv never shit or even held a gun before and Makena (staff) made it simple and straight forward. They have many guns you can choose from, or pick a couple you want to try. My favorite was the shot gun, I always wanted to shoot one.
I was pretty happy with my ability to hit the target and feel confident in my ability to blow the head off a zombie and that I will survive such an apocalypse haha!

My wife was pretty nervous her first time shooting a gun. Mikolaj, our instructor was awesome and put her at ease with great explanations on how to handle the guns safely. Overall a great experience. Would definitely come back.

It was so much fun. I was shaking the whole time but it was quite the experience. We had brandon helping us the whole time and he was so patient with me. Great service. Would def go back once I grow some balls lol

This is my first time ever holding a gun and moreover firing it. I was scared in the beginning but once you get the hang of it it was actually so much fun. There was a long line up because it was ladies night. Ladies just pay for the bullets. No admission fee. That’s a savings of $ 30. It’s very entertaining. Me and my friends had so much fun. I would have given it 5 stars if my gun didnt keep on jammin. Overall an absolute exciting experience.

Came here two weekends in a row recently. Unfortunately the lines were on the long side as everyone was redeeming their Groupons. The wait was a good 60 – 90 minutes before I got in.
Anyway once you go in, you sign your waivers, they keep your ID and you choose what you want to shoot, the amount of ammo you want, and your target. You have your choice of a zombie, a silhouette, and my personal favourite target, Hello Kitty. After that you have a safety brief, put on protective eye and ear gear and off you go.
Then, you shoot your guns. Depending how trigger happy you are you might be done pretty fast. If you’re a noob like me, there is always someone right there with you to make sure you can load/​reload and guide you through everything again.
Service is definitely top notch here. While it does get pretty pricey (I believe it’s $ 35 for cover, $ 1.50 for a target, and you will easily spend $ 30+ for ammo) and it does add up, I don’t think I saw a single person leave without a smile on their face. Myself included. Definitely recommended for anyone who needs to cross this off on their bucket list!

Shooting was fun for sure.
Warning! Long lines outside (at opening time)!! That’s before you sign waivers inside, pay etc etc.
You enter, fill out paperwork get a safety brief and then wait some more.
You go into the front reception in batches. Then wait for other groups to leave the range before its your turn

It’s like being super excited to be going to Disneyland. Once you’re there, you’re waiting well over an hour for the rides… You get pissed off, tired and the fun of it disappears fast. Once the ride is done, you just wanna get back to your hotel/​home.
**** bringing kids? BRING their Govt issued ID or they will not be allowed into the range and will have to wait in the reception.

I’ve really wanted to check this off my bucket list of to-do’s and took advantage of the opportunity to go for a friend’s birthday. He booked the «birthday package» which included shooting 4 different guns (including a 9 mm and a shot gun. I’m not a gun expert so I can’t remember what the other two were). The cost was $ 61 for the 11 of us (the package is normally for 10 people but we split the $ 650 between 11 of us). I found the package to be well worth it (from a gun noobs perspective) since the cost was affordable compared to how much we would have spent for a smaller group to shoot that many guns/​that much ammo.
For a large group, we were assigned 2 staff members to watch our group. They were super nice/​funny but also blunt to make sure they were taken seriously. I feel they made the experience because they were very supportive throughout the process and were always there to answer questions.
It was an extremely nerve racking experience for me since I’ve never shot a gun and was really scared when I shot the first one. But the experience became a lot more fun as the booking went on. I thought the service was great (although the front-​desk staff could lighten up a bit. they were a bit of a jerk to some of us) and that it was a fun night if you’ve never done something like this before!
