Pomme Natural Market

The staff is nice and I’ve never experienced a problem with anyone here, but my gripe is with how overpriced everything is compared to other local organic markets and even Chinese ones. Some of the oils are insanely priced for such a small volume and you can easily get a better selection over at Winners across the street. I can even find coconut oil and Braggs apple cider priced more reasonably at save on compared to here.
They have rose lemonade, which I guess is the only reason I may consider coming back.

Does not stand by their return policy. Dishonest business practices.

My go to place in coquitlam to shop ! They understand vegan, great customer service and have basically all the food you need. I love organic and local, check it out forsure

Much nicer than the DT location, much bigger too but look at the comffy lounge area with fireplace, bar seating…
March 1^st is their one year anniversary, so they’re having a 10% off, one day only.
Ice cream selection is limited, nice lady walked me over to back, where the washrooms are.
Prices are to be expected.

Similar to layout as the Davie Street location. I used to come here when I lived in Coquitlam and then found it easier to come to DT. Layout is clean, products are the same and prices are hit and miss depending on product. Customer service is awesome.

To say that I love this place would be an understatement! It may be silly for someone to say that about a grocery store but it isn’t entirely the store that makes me love it so much. Most importantly it is the people that work in the store! Every single employee greets you with a smile and a hello and more often times than not they engage in conversation. The conversations aren’t your general «Hi, how are you?» but they are more often then not, detailed and in depth conversations.
As an added bonus, the food is INCREDIBLY amazing, especially their prepared food section! The new store is incredibly beautiful and very well laid out.

Quality organic food at reasonable prices. Lots of products you won’t find anywhere else in the tri-​cities. Always check to see what is on sale at the front because you’ll sometimes find great deals (for example I bought a box of Vega protein bars, 12 bars for 10 dollars because they had a huge overstock, and now it’s back up to about 40 dollars a box.)
I’ve found every natural product that I’ve heard of in passing at this store and am constantly amazed at what I find by just wandering around. The microwave pasta from Old Country Edibles is excellent value here for quick lunches, and the prepped food counter is full of healthy meals which can be enjoyed in the small dining section of the store.

I’m sad to say I was pretty disappointed with Pomme. On the one hand, their selection is fantastic. Lots of options for packaged organic foods and their personal care aisle was impressive. However, the produce itself left a lot to be desired. The fruits and veggies looked good and we purchased over $ 100 worth, but quickly discovered over the next couple days that the quality was very poor. Nectarines rotted in the first 36 hours, pears were flavorless, apples had strange spots in the flesh after cutting. After paying the high price for local and organic, my family was left with a bad taste in our mouths.

This is an excellent place for a massive variety of organic products. Everything you could possibly need in one spot.
The employees are friendly and sociable, and help any way they can with no trouble. There is a comforting atmosphere to this place that makes you feel welcome.
Prices can be on the high side for some products, but being able to get so much in one place makes up for it.

This is becoming one of my favourite stores to find organic, gf, and df groceries. I have a huge laundry list of food allergies and I can find quite a lot of products that are allergy free for me. The prices are similar to other health food stores like Whole Foods and Choices, so no sticker shock for me.

Not sure what happened with Planet Organics that use to be here, but this place is quite lovely.
It is essentially an even smaller version of the Robson street Whole Foods.
Small deli section, even smaller produce section. I was sad to say when I was trying to pick out packaged mixed peppers, a bunch were already soft and tops were getting wrinkly. :(
They have a loyalty card of some sort, however they were all out of forms so I wasn’t able to fill one out. Not sure if they are like Safeway, where you can hang on to the receipt and re-​redeem your points that way?
It’s a great choice for Coquitlam, since I am newer to that area. They do carry just as large of a variety of organic products that I have familiarized myself with at Whole Foods.
Will eventually make a couple more trips to update my review. :)

Newly open Pomme has replaced the Planet Organic that once was and shall forever be no more. At first I was sad to see the Planet O. wither and die but now I rejoice. For up from its deteriorating roots a superior healthy market has unleashed a new breed of awesomeness.
Imagine a store where all the gluten free goodies are hiding together under one roof. Imagine a store where gf df pizza’s and pies are at your finger tips. Or four freaking flavours of coconut sugar! And the softest baby blankets made of egyptian cotton known to mankind. Imagine yourself opening four different brands of butter tarts and falling to your knees, weeping, overcome with that glorious agony that you will not be able to overcome your sugar cravings due to these majestic pastry encrusted sugar bowls. All this can come true. and more. (That last part, the falling to the knees, did not actually happen by the way… that’s where the imagining is still yet to be fulfilled.)
It basically has the same stuff as Planet Organic but WAY more. It’s twice the size. There is a selection of Raw food items. So many various brands of items so you don’t have to just get whatever you consider ‘the lousy kind’. It has a nice little eating area on the one side. The floor looked like it was the same stuff as before. noticeable because the floor was really tacky. It it must have been dusty from all the moving around because my nose would not stop running when I was in there. A large majority of the staff are the same which is cool to see they didn’t get fired. Except for the one annoying cashier. but hey. annoying people need jobs too.
If you are not within range of this store I pity you. If you are, drive (walk, run, crawl, skydive) over there ASAP and you will not be disappointed. I have never seen so many various kinds of healthy Mayo in my life. It’s a beautiful thing. And the last little chesnut, if you haven’t already bolted out of your chair to head to Pomme, they have fresh made gluten free pasta for a decent price. Shut. Up. As the youngin’s would say. Or maybe the oldin’s. I’m not sure who says that anymore. I don’t. But this is a rare situation that needs something to take it up a notch. Ok, I think I just ruined the moment. We’ll just say this one more time… Gluten free fresh made pasta. Go. now. Stuff yourself. I won’t judge.
If you went to the gluten free expo, a lot of the items there are at this store. Also, you can go on their website and request items. I requested baby acidophilus for the wee one who likes to be gassy. TMI!!!
Before I get sidetracked again: Pomme for the win!
