Ate here many times before it was re-branded. Not sure if it’s new ownership, but I will 2nd the previous comments on terrible service. Ordered a couple of dishes for pick up, told it would be ready in 30 minutes. During the order she was also talking to the kitchen and other patrons. Asked me to repeat myself multiple times as she wasn’t listening to me. It was not a good experience. Upon arriving was told that it’s going to be a couple of minutes. When I asked what that meant, she said it’s going to be another 15. I shared that you had asked me to come for 745 and her response is «yeah we’re busy tonight» while walking away and taking another order. I asked is they had started on our dishes and she said some of it. Chose to cancel the order. It’s too bad as I really liked the previous ownership/lady. Maybe she wasn’t working tonight, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. Really dismissive attitude, and no apology. A simple sorry about that would have gone a long ways.

I recently enjoyed my second visit to Little Thailand last week, my first time beingat least a year before. Making dinner plans with a friend, I remembered being pleasantly surprised my the tasty food so we met there for dinner. The place is definitely *quaint, but décor is not what i am rating. The food wasn’t just as good as i remembered, it was even better! I had the green curry with shrimp medium spice with a side of coconut rice. It was great. What i appreciate in these kind of dishes is getting substantial and quality vegetables, not just filler, like cabbage(and not wilty-bottom-bag either). The prawns, though not quite jumbo, were still plump, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portions may look small, but don’t discount the rice!- i left very full, with a sad shrimp left behind. My only criticism is i would have like more heat in a «medium», so next time I will get«hot» I will be coming back again and again. This place is underrated!

I have traveled to south east Asia many times, and most restaurants in BC that claim to have authentic Thai food, serve greasy look alikes. This is a family owned business that cooks legitimate Thai food, on top of that they put live into their presentation. The curry here is beyond any expectation. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this hidden gem.

This is one of my favorite place, the food is amazing! We didn’t wait very long for our food to be served. The service is great and friendly staff. This will be about my fourth time going there and certainly not my last :-)

This is one of those places that prove you can’t judge a book by its cover. When you walk in you’ll notice the plain cold interior, and hear the rattly hum of the cheap mechanical system. But when you sit down you’ll forget about it all. The service is the most friendly you can get. The flavours are fantastic! I’ve had probably half of the menu and was impressed by every single item. The only critique I really have is that the food seems to be prepared a little quickly. The vegetables are a little firmer than you’d expect, and some of the sauces maybe a bit runny… I waivered on the decision to rate them 3 or 4 stars. If they updated the level of the finishes inside the restaurant, I’d undoubtedly give this place four stars. If they spent a TAD more time developing a little more richness into their sauces, this would be a 5 star mid-range restaurant.

Six of us arrived on Friday night. The restaurant was empty. We ordered Spicy fried tofu and spring rolls as appetizers. I could have eaten 3 orders of the tofu. It was not very spicy but had a delicious sweetness to it. Our main orders consisted of chicken Pad Thai(one mild spice and one hot spice), a shrimp green curry(medium spice) and chicken green curry(hot spice), and Lad Nar. It is one of the best green curries I have ever had. Everything was served right out of the kitchen, piping hot. The only thing was that the Lad Nar was the last to come out of the kitchen, a little slow, but that insured that it was freshly made. I cannot say enough good things about this little place.

Décor nothing to write home about — quite plain actually, for a thai place. Food was pretty good — Bikini Prawns & Spring Rolls were tasty. Red curry chicken was nice & the Sidewalk BBQ(bad name) was ok but the chicken was on the dry side. Salad with the prawns was good/interesting & the one with the BBQ was good but weird for Thai. Pretty average Thai food. Service on the other hand was incredibly terrible. Took forever to take our order & we were the only table that needed to order. Food seemed to take quite some time to come and again we were the only table waiting for food. And they’re not licensed so don’t go if you need a drink.

Wonderful staff, quaint, and really good Thai food for a small restaurant in Coquitlam!

I would not have gone here, unless I heard about it from a friend, because it is just a little hidden place in Port Moody. It’s on the main road, St Johns St, but at first glance it looks like an old pink house. That said, I went on my friend’s recommendation and I was not let down. The atmosphere and décor appeared authentic and quaint. The dining area was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were appropriate for the food quantity and quality. Price points are a matter of perspective, but I certainly found them fair and inexpensive. But the food was the best part! I ordered the Pad Thai, and my friends ordered Moo Yang. Their comments about the Moo Yang were very positive including apparently fresh ingredients and lots of flavour. Their dinners came with some of the Papaya salad which I was able to taste and was blown away by the sweet and spicy tastes. Something I learned was that when you eat something spicy, cashew nuts, will help tone down the kick! My Pad Thai was simple and tasty, as reliable as can be, but I wished I had tried something different, instead of something reliable. Most importantly when you go to this restaurant, find a reason to have the coconut rice. I know it seems ridiculous that rice would be such a strong point, but it is unbelievable how tasty the coconut rice is here. I didn’t have room for desert, but will look forward to my next visit when I can try the deep fried bananas, with ice cream. Definitely recommend! PS if you order for pick up you get a 10% discount.

I am giving this resturaunt 3 stars because it is a fairly average Thai resturaunt. The food is good, the ambiance seems contrived. Like they are trying too hard. I always get takeout. I think the prices are a little high for what it is. It is the closest takeout to my house, so on lazy days they get my business. I like it, I just don’t think it’s super great. Healthy: I don’t know — Is thai food healthy? They have soups and salads. Entre prices: $ 13 – 15
