Business Owner

This Bio is for Shapour (my Tailor) and Claudette (myself) this business would not exist without each other.

Sewing was part of my life at a young age with the watchful eye of my mom. I continued sewing for my children till 2005 when I owned my first business.

With 54 years experience, he specializes in «recut» of suits, alterations for women and men, and designing of women’s clothing.

Shapour started at a young age of 11. By the age of 16 he had 5 people working under his guidance. In his country he worked for their «Hollywood», mostly designing for women. At 29 he owned his Shoppe and had 9 ladies working for him. Coming to Canada in 1991, his first home was in Port Moody, and his dream was one day to have a tailor shop on St. Johns St. Being determined to be Canadian he worked for Townline Tailors, Harry Rosen, Leonies, Burberry, (just to name a few companies). During this time he worked for men and women’s clothing, doing alterations, and also worked for a designer.
