Second Cup

Location:
This one is located in a strip mall. It’s one of the older ones where there’s the weird tight parking in front. I was here after work, there’s a fast food restaurant beside it but parking was cool.
Inside:
Its a smaller store. There’s small tables to sit at and a bar with 4 or 5 high seats. That area is a bit crowded.
The food part is small. There’s a small selection of sandwiches and goodies compared to other stores.
Drinks:
I love the lattes. They have lactose free milk, which they do not charge for. Hear that Starbucks? It’s free.
Big recommendations –the cinnamon latte. Mmm Mmm good
Food:
Got a breakfast sandwich and a ginger cookie. The sandwich was OK, they toast it in an oven. It’s not going to win any prizes, but stops belly rumbles. The ginger molasses cookies had been softer from what I remember but this time it was really hard. Not sure if they are now supposed to be now. It tasted good, was just a bit hard.
Staff:
The server was great. Chill and funny.

Will be back

This year, I’m a fan. There are new owners! The service is a lot better and the chairs aren’t damaged like they used to be. Some of the tables are wobbly, but the baristas are great, and the overall environment as a lot more pleasing than it used to be.

second cup is the best coffee chain in Canada. This location has as well indoor and outdoor seating. Free WiFi therefore a lot of people hanging out.

The staffs at this Second Cup are nice and sweet here…
Since Williams Pub Coffee is closed right across the street. this is the closest coffee shop with Free Wifi access aside from the Starbucks down the street.
Music is relaxing from Sirius — «The Blend»… some might like it, some might not…
But one thing really tick me off is there are not outlets available at all! Even the one I found at the side is taped up by duct tape…
OK. I get the message… make sure you charged up your electronic gadgets or bring a second batteries… and just limit your stay…

Always love the coffee, the taste of coffee is a middle of tim horton and starbucks, in other words casually rich. love the service, don’t like the location, you have to cross young to get to it if you are walking. and don’t like the fact it closes early. but love love love the coffee… :) yes I am a coffee drinker ;P

I’ve coming to this second cup since high school. I remember trying to beat out other customers to sit on the shoe shaped chairs. I remember the delicious sugar cookies, and the too-​sweet white hot chocolate. This was my place.
All nostalgia aside, it is a second cup, and the food and drink is of course predictable. You already know it, this one is just like the rest of ‘em, except they make every drink with love.
