Cute little place for after dinner desserts. Came here tonight after dinner. Surprisingly not super busy/packed. My friend and I were seated right away and we order our usuals. Friend really likes the London fogs here, she literally gets cravings for it! LOL I typically always get the royal milk tea but today I decided to get the matcha latte. My first sip, it tasted under stirred powder substance. Had to request additional milk to add to my drink. I always tend to lean on getting the cheese cake because they are quite good but tonight I’ve decided to get the«Yogurt» cake. It was a sponge like cake material. Was expecting it to be more flavourful but I really just tasted cream loll service is also very friendly but slow! Our really recommend the royal milk tea and any of the cheese cake!

I saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal on May 18th and decided to book mark it. I’ve seen this name on other people’s reviews, however, based on the name of the place I actually didn’t know what it was until I saw some pictures. I did flip through all 66 pictures posted before deciding to venture out to this place. From the outside it doesn’t look like much and I’ve more likely have walked by this place one too many times in passing when in the area thinking that it was nothing more than another café. The places looks like a dessert museum. Everything is picture perfect. This place is very small but quiet during the work week. I came here to work on my ‘zine and some art projects. This was part of my 100 coffee shops in 52 weeks challenge. Very polite service and welcoming environment. Very clean and cozy atmosphere. 15 minute walk from Aberdeen station. There is a bus that comes by, however, I recommend walking to burn the calories. They have tea and cake combos as low as $ 9. Cash only. Open late.

What I love and always order: matcha chiffon, royal milk tea, red tea latte(caffeine free!), noir blanc, jasmine cheesecake, mango cheesecake… I would love to try the earl grey cheesecake next time when I come here! =)

A great place for a coffee and dessert with a friend. Small and comfortable. Cash only so the wife will not have any questions when looking at the visa statement.

Ok today is a special day at Berry Good. Besides that. I’m happy to say that I got the earl grey cheesecake and a pot of earl grey tea! I love their pretty presentation and the classic deserts that never fade in «wonderfullness» and amazement. Hands down best desert place in Richmond. When you come in. Get seated, check out the cake display and figure out what you want and add a drink with it. Order what you want. Do not worry about price. This place is about flavour, and pretty pretty pretty I feel pretty. Instagram your food! #berrygood

I like Berry Good. There aren’t too many dessert options in Richmond and I like their Noir Blanc!

The cakes here are really delicious. My favorite is the noir blanc. The tables are quite close to each another so it can be a little uncomfortable. Also, don’t order the sweet potato latte. I had it in Korea and it was delicious. But here, it was really bland

LOVELOVELOVE this cute cake shop! Reminds me of Seoul’s Paris Baguette café. The super soft and delicious matcha chiffon cake is their #1 for sure! And the noir blanc melts in your mouth. Too bad they don’t open on Sundays… it usually sundays I really crave their cakes. The owner is a very friendly Korean lady. Just keep coming back!

Their cakes are good, no complaints, but nothing special. Service is friendly, but slow. My friend and I waited around 20 minutes to get our cakes, which were in the display case, and just needed to be cut and served.

Try their basic vanilla cheesecake. Never too sweet. Be prepared to indulge yourself in silky rich cheesy smoothness.

So the reason why I keep coming back to Berry Good is because… it’s one of the few dessert places in Richmond that stay open late. To be honest, there aren’t many options if you don’t feel like going for bubble tea so the two main late-night dessert places are Berry Good and Yavis Club. Anyways, Berry good was originally a lot better a few years back but recently their quality has been declining. Their famous earl grey cheesecake honestly doesn’t taste that unique and isn’t worth the price. I would rather pay a couple dollars more for a cake from Thierry! But then again, I live in Richmond so Berry good is a lot more convenient. Recently, I tried their chocolate cake(not the slice, but an individual heart cake covered in chocolate) and it was very dry and bland. It was actually hard to swallow so we had to order a drink in order to wash it down. We also got two of their cheesecakes(very mediocre) and a large matcha roll that looked amazing! However, it only looked amazing and ended up tasting very bland with not much matcha flavour… I’ll probably end up here again someday but honestly, it’s just okay.

Limited seatings. Less than 10 tables. Sometimes it’s hard to find seats during the weekends. I think it’s closed on Wednesday, and the store generally opens around 3pm. Parking is good at night time, don’t ‘know about afternoon when all the neighbor stores are opened for business. Good selection of different types of Cheese cakes. I enjoy the«Almond Soy» hot drink very much, but it would be nice if the mug is a little bigger. LOL I felt like the whole thing is gone within 2 zips. Last night, I tried the Jasmine Tea Cheese Cake. Taste good… There’s also the Earl Grey Cheese Cake, Chocolate Cake, Green Tea Cake available. You may choose to order the combo for«Drink + Cake» for around like $ 9. Not too bad~ Will definitely go back(on any week nights) The place is not good for big group of people to hang out because they have limited tables. Ideally is good for group of 2 – 4. Cash and Debit only. No Credit Cards.

I had the noir blanc and it was divine! Very light, not too sweet, and the layers were very fluffy. The Café Latte was standard. The service was pleasant and prompt. The prices are a tad bit pricey though.

This is one of the only places I consider in Richmond to have real cake. I have to say that the taste is cater to the Asian market, and they should be since Richmond is overpopulated with us. LOL. What I mean by Asian is that the cakes and desserts are not overly sweet. It’s quite subtle, so if you are looking for a sugar overdose, their cakes might not be for you. Still, I do enjoy their many varieties of cakes. The Earl Grey Chocolate Cheesecake is absolutely heavenly if it is available. Their drinks are mediocre, especially the tea, not that flattering. I recommend you get the cakes for take-out as the décor needs a major upgrade before I would prefer to eat in there.

Berry Good is a small Korean-owned cake shop located in Excel Centre which same as Top Gun restaurant mall. I heard from my friend and read the review of it that they’re doing pretty good and have a bit high expectation of their cakes. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed of what I had and probably not fair to compare with descent bakery shop. Well… I prefer to pay a buck more to get more tasty and quality of cake. Tiramisu — It looked good but it didn’t taste good. The cake wasn’t moist and didn’t taste much mascarpone cheese, espresso, dark rum. Lemon tart — It full flavour of lemon which sour. Earl grey cheesecake — It’s not too cheesy and dense but rather pillowy soft with an almost whipped consistency. NY cheesecake — I would rated below average. It’s not rich and flavour. May be they open late at night and the good dessert place at Richmond, that’s why they got high rated review. Otherwise, I would go Sweet Spot or L’Opera for dessert

This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I’m so glad to find this place! It’s a cute little dessert hideaway, very intimate and cozy. I love their drink and dessert combos, which is a bit over $ 8(a bit more if you choose cheesecake). Their cake selection changes daily. We chose royal milk tea & green tea chiffon cake, and mixed berry juice & earl grey cheesecake. Their cute teacups and saucers add a nice touch! The green tea chiffon cake was delicious and had a good texture, airy but moist. I almost ordered a second piece. The earl grey cheesecake was full of earl grey flavour with a slight tart taste from the cream cheese, very refreshing and light. I definitely want to go back there to try the other cakes. This is a new favourite spot for me!

This delightful little dessert café is hidden away in Excel Plaza on McKim Way in Richmond, next to Canwest Taekwondo Academy. The proprietress is a young Korean woman who specialized in French and Japanese pastries and is married to a Taiwanese man. This interesting blend of influences shows itself nicely at Berry Good. The place itself is small, some may think it’s tiny but like any good tearoom it’s very nice and cozy. The décor is lovely, one wall papered in beautiful, old-fashioned floral motifs and the other wall is covered in startlingly modern shale or granite slabs. Somehow it just works. I’ve tried many of the desserts here and they are amazing. Mango cheesecake, white chocolate cheesecake, green tea chiffon cake, just to name a few. All of these were difficult to eat without shutting my eyes and moaning. They also have exceptionally good dacquois(little meringue cookies) that are, sadly, only available to order most of the time now. The menu boasts all manner of teas, coffees, smoothies, juices and other steamed or cold concoctions available, with decaf and non-dairy options too. The refrigerated display case showcases their available cakes and pastries for the day, which changes all the time. There are even sandwiches on the menu if you need something more substantial. The little details, such as the unique teapots, cups and saucers and spoons are nice touches that add to the presentation of each item. You can see the care and thought put into choosing which drink goes in which cup or glass. A lot of these are not even available in Canada. In a city overrun with bubble tea cafes, this place stands out. Even with its small dimensions, it still offers table service. A drink and a slice of cake runs about $ 10 per person. Great place for a nightcap, especially if you are looking to please some cake-loving women.
