First time coming to Bibo Pizzeria down at the Designer Outlet mall in Richmond. I went with my boyfriend and parents to take them out to eat at an Italian restaurant. Once we walked in, there was a Firestone oven, coffee and alcohol bar. Our server was helpful with our choices and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered two cappuccinos, red sauce pasta, and two pizzas(I forgot the name of the dishes but I have pictures to show what they look like). The pasta was fairly good but I wouldn’t go there for their pasta. I would recommend the pizzas! The pizzas are cooked in the Firestone oven, the ingredients are fresh and the crust is so thin! Definitely try their pizzas out! Overall, I would give the experience including service, food, and feel of the restaurant an 8⁄10!

This place has potential. The good… food is tasty and authentic. Ingredients are fresh, and portions reasonable. The bad… prices are high. About 20% more than comparable pizza joints. Understandable given its location. The service however, is about the worst I’ve ever experienced. Waited 15-minutes before I managed to flag down a waiter… and even then, he seemed completely uninterested in taking our order. This place will fail if they don’t step up their game. Asians expect good service, and with the prices they charge, we all would. I would rate them 4-stars for the food, but 0-stars for the service.

After an afternoon of shopping, we were ready for a rest and dinner. We ordered the marinara pizza and the potato pie with mushrooms appetizer. The pizza was excellent(no cheese, which is how we like it) and the crust was thin and perfect. We actually asked beforehand if the crust was thin and our server, who is from Naples, said it is just as they make in Naples. Well, it was delicious. The potato pie with mushrooms was out of this world. It was like a potato croquet on a light pastry bathed in this rich parmigiano reggiano cheese sauce and fresh porcini mushrooms. It was divine. It was so good I am going to go back just for that tomorrow for lunch, and will try to make it when I return home. Our server, Paolo, was so nice and engaging. We felt like we were in Naples.

Not great, had high expectations but a very salty underdone lacklustre risotto and a very ordinary pizza won’t have me coming back. I’ve eaten pizza in Naples and this does not come close.

Disappointed with food and service. Ordered veggie pizza for $ 18. Came back with a couple of veggie toppings plus zucchini & onion soup is watery and lack of flavor. Server looks unhappy and doesn’t want to be there. Overall experience… Bibo is a rip-off.

Real Italian pizza. There is only one size but it can be shared if not that hungry. We had two pizza and a bruschetta shared for three and it was just great. The pizza is really good and made in firewood. Definitely I will stop there again when I come to the mall.

Absolutely delicious! Loved the bruschetta, carbonara, and strawberry panna cotta. They know how to make a great cappuccino. Restaurant is fun and lovely, clean and bright. Service was responsive and prompt. We will definitely come back!

Stopped by here after a day of shopping and loved it. The pizza is delicious and it’s a beautiful, open space. Will be back next time I’m in the area!
