We came in at 10:00. The rude Chinese girl yells from across the room«CLOSED! LASTCALL10:00!» even though the door displays very clearly that it closes at 12:00. Then she looks down to text on her phone and pretends we’re non-exsistent. Never going to this place again, we have never been treated that way ever in any resturant before. If you want to be treated with some semblance of decency, DONOTCOMEHERE.

At first glance it seems to be very good value. I had the kimchi hotpot. All the hotpots boasts of having over 11 ingredients or something like that. I found like 1.5 slices of beef in mine and a few sad pieces of kimchi. The size of the pot is impressive but it’s mostly just red soup. I’d rather pay a couple dollars more and have the more substantial kimchi seafood hotpot from pearl castle.

Food tastes alright, nothing special, but the service isn’t very good. Our food took a very long time to come out, and when it did, one of the dishes was wrong. Wouldn’t come back, sorry hanppy.

The price is more than fair compare to other Korean restaurants in the area. But you get what you pay for. We other two bowls of tofu soup and it taste nowhere near Korean. It taste more like a Chinese chef working in a Korean kitchen that didn’t know how things work. By the way, the chef was chinese that day. The soup was bad, and the seafood wasn’t fresh at all. my daughter loves this place — she love the Korean beef rice. For some reason, the flavor, mixed with the sauce and the rice combination drives kids crazy! It’s her favorite dish!

#7 #7 #7 #7 That’s about all I can say. Staff is super friendly, absolutely love the speedy service and the food is also affordable on a student budget. Totally an all-time favourite.

I think either the owner changed or they just changed the décor. I was here yesterday and I have to say the service was really unexpected. There was only one guy working and he was really polite and nice. The food did take a little longer to arrive but it was okay. The prices I think did increase a little bit, but I think the portion is a little bit bigger now. My favourite is still number 1 with bean thread :)

Went to Hanppy tofu house for some snacks. Had the curry hot pot and an appy. Good price point and friendly servers. Their portions are also very generous. Seems like this place is typically packed and requires a bit of waiting. Would come here again.

Awesome service! First Asian restaurant to ever ask me how was your meal? How can we serve you better next time? I was in shock but in the best way possible. This was my 2nd visit and was more than satisfied with my meal. My son and his friend had the $ 13.50VIP meals which came with an appetizer, main, dessert and drink. Great value and enough food for teenage boys. We will return!

This is the same location, same food and pretty much the same as Hun Ju Tofu Hot Pot except that they changed they name to Hanppy Tofu Pot House. It has the same delicious, cozy and body warming Tofu Pot and BBQ on Rice deliciousness. However, they have a lot more choices now. Such as deep fried chicken or braised beef brisket on rice or Korean style fried udon or Korean style house-made seafood cake. I still go for my comfort options of #1 Seafood & Tofu Pot with the yummy, chewy green bean noodles, a variety of goodies mixed in the flavourful broth and served with a bowl of rice or # 5 Korean Style BBQ with Rice, which is a big bowl of sweet and rich meat with yummy veggies and a hard poached egg on top of rice. There isn’t as much protein included with the Tofu Pots but the soup, noodles and rice make it filling enough. At $ 7.50 each, you can’t go wrong! They finally have a temporary fix for the drafty door as well, that way you don’t lose all your soup heat when someone enters the restaurant. They’re open 11am-11pm and Cash Only! Eat Hanppy and be happy!

Although I had heard about Hanju Tofu Hot Pot for the longest of times, I never actually tried it until they changed their name to Hanppy Tofu Pot House recently. Apparently, it’s still exactly the same as it was under the previous name. The korean style bbq with rice(~$ 7) was the only non-soup item on their specials menu, if I recall correctly. It was sort of like a bibimbap except with different toppings. I have to say, I enjoy the traditional bibimbap toppings, including the shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts more. Instead, this had a lot of cabbage and some tofu with mild hot sauce. It was alright for what it was worth. The kimchi hot pot(~$ 7) was alright. I kind of regretted ordering this, since the seafood hot pot looked like it was of better value. Still, I couldn’t finish this as it was quite large. The soup tasted a bit sour from the kimchi, but I found that there weren’t that many kimchi slices inside. There wasn’t a lot of beef either — maybe two small pieces in total. The clear rice noodles were generous in proportion though. While the food was not as spectacular compared to that of House of Tofu Soup, it was significantly cheaper. The portions were large, and there was definitely more than enough to feed the both of us. I was slightly disappointed that there were no side dishes, but at this price, I can’t really complain.

amazing value, as pic shows, just for $ 6.25, how they make $$… 2 diff types of veggies, plenty of bbq pork meat, and the tofu came w/a nice chilli sauce. Even an eggs over easy thrown in over the rice. They seem to sell some kimchi noodles too but it’s not korean owned for those who care. but the bbt drinks i’ll try next time. plenty of free parking in this huge plaza. nice décor, high ceilings, like any other bbt place but they specialize in tofu.
