I’m so surprised there was only 2 stars. K-Mix should be rated at five stars. It is an excellent place for Karaōke in Richmond. Private rooms with different size as you request… Excellent speakers and lots of new songs… English songs, Chinese Songs … Having lots of fun over there

Horrible horrible service! After being there regularly for a whole year, i have decided to seek for other places to go. we asked a few questions regarding to the size of our room and our drink, which i expected to be completely normal for them. I just wanted to verify, wasn’t complaining or anything, but the server gave me such a rude answer without proper explanation. My friend ended up apologizing to the server for causing her any inconvenience, and yet she still gave us no proper manner, no proper service language and a poor attitude. Their co-workers doesn’t care about our customer’s concern at all! Instead, I was told by the co-worker that this is the way that girl server is, she doesn’t like to smile and she doesn’t like to talk much. In addition, they refused to give me her name cuz they don’t want me to complain her to their manager. What kind of feedback is that?! I wasn’t expecting a 5 star service from them, but at least i expected a minimum respect as a customer. I doubt anyone from them would care, but just wanted to share my experience. This is actually my first rating regarding to any service. Big disappointment on April 132014!

Terrible service!!! Went there with my friends and had difficulty with the computer, we pressed the service a trillion times and no one came! Went to the counter and the 2 staff were chatting away and entirely ignoring us! We left after our hour was up!

6÷16÷2012 I am by no means an expert on KTV, so this review is from a noob’s perspective. Only my 2nd time KTVing, the first time being in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, which had all sorts of ridiculous song variations and videos and got shut down and refused to let us buy another hour when they realized a police bust was happening at the Chinese restaurant downstairs… but I digress. We fit about 15 people into a room for a good 3 hours, and each paid about $ 15. Again, I have no idea if this is a good price, if the equipment was good, or what a «good» KTV place is, but I was satisfied with my experience, and the song selection seemed pretty good(although there was no Don’t Stop Believing… that was annoying…) :)

Came here to sing some tunes. Parking here is quite ample. There were a dozen or so empty spots in the lot. Surprisingly there wasn’t too much of a lineup here, as it was a Saturday night. The lobby were playing a bunch of(really annoying) Korean songs. As I was in a large group, we booked a large party room. The rates aren’t too bad, at $ 80/hr for up to 16 – 19 people, and $ 100 for 20+. Basically $ 5/hr per person, which is comparable to catching a movie. This rooms was much larger than expected. We could’ve easily fit 25 people in here, with room to spare. As with the competition, the equipment is quite outdated. You can tell the equipment wasn’t HD, which would’ve been nice considering the amount of revenue this room generates and that they had a large projector screen, which highlights this flaw. The other complaint was that wireless microphones were out of batteries(just need to ask the people at the front desk to replace them). They should just have these replaced nightly. I’m sure many groups run into this problem. But the room was clean, and the sound was well insulated(common problem with many places). Their song ordering system is one of the easier ones to use, and while it didn’t have everything(which place ever does?), there was something for everyone, both in Chinese and English. As we didn’t order any snacks or drinks, I can’t comment on that. Overall, it was a good time. Can’t comment on Adam L’s experience, but my friends and I were quite happy here.
