I ordered the #2BBQ Chicken which came with rice and 2 sides. A lady rang up my order, prepared the sides & passed it down to the cook who was preparing the chicken. When the cook gave me my order to go– I opened it to find that it was a chicken burger with fries. I told him that I ordered the BBQ Chicken & he became confused and told me to wait. The customers after me received their order before I did. He tried to ask the lady who rang up my order but she disappeared to the back somewhere, so the cook started to re make my order. I realized he accidentally gave my order to someone else before me. After he gave me the correct order, he started to explain that for my correct order he will have to charge me more(b/c the bbq chicken costs more than the burger). I told him that I paid for the bbq chicken, not the burger. But he asked how much I paid(I said around $ 10 plus with a drink) and kept insisting that he had to charge me more. It even said what I ordered on my receipt. I told him that he’s the one who screwed up & I had to wait, plus he wanted to charge me more? I don’t think so. The chicken is pre cooked, the potatoes… I think they re-fry them over and over again & the noodles were bland. If you like bad service then this place is for you! :D

Old double/triple fried potatoes and small tiny portions of meat. Chicken needs help. When the sides taste better than the meat, there is a problem.

I just tried this today and I dunno if there is new ownership or something from when the other reviews were written, but I loved my meal! The service was fast and freindly and the food tasted very fresh! I would say this place is my go to place now in this foodcourt.

Was about to try the bbq, figured that’s their specialty but their digital screen caught my eye w/their Monday special, the chicken Flammer. Actually didn’t know it was going to be an actual chicken burger. Boneless chicken, tender but the tasty part was the sweet salad dressing sauce. Wasn’t too bad, and w/about 5 fried round zucchini’s(changed from fries), owner was pretty cool about me getting a pop can instead of the fountain drink, all for under $ 8. Hey, i don’t expect much at food court so it was more than decent.

The Koryo Korean Barbeque is in the food court of the Richmond Centre mall. I ordered the special which was steak with two sides plus two scoops of steamed rice for $ 8.49. For the sides I chose quarter cut garlic potatoes and slice, battered zucchini. I ordered my steak medium rare. The result: the steak was VERY thin and the order taker clearly thought I said well done. I’ll need to work on my enunciation. The Steak had more gristle than I had expected(silly me I expected none). The flavour of the meat was somewhat hidden by a sweet sauce but the two combined to quite a pleasant taste. The garlic potatoes and the zucchini were ok, but were barely warm(germs form at what temperature?) Didn’t try the rice, but I could see it was very mushy. For food court fare I’d rate the meal ok, but doubt I’ll try this outlet again. On the plus side now I would like to try a Korean BBQ restaurant.
