So it turns out Vancouver actually has a local distributor for Tiger (the Japanese kitchen appliance company) parts. I thought my rice cooker was toast, until I was given the contact to this office after contacting Tiger USA.
Parking is available in front of the building. There are some visitor spots.
The inside is really just an office. Not sure where what else they distribute here, but I’m guessing they also do Asian food products.
I called in and ordered the parts. The guy on the other line was very friendly and helpful, and was willing to have the parts brought in without a deposit. Special mention.
When I showed up, the parts were already waiting for me. They only accept cash ther for over-​the-​counter sales. Something to keep in mind. A few minutes later, I was out the door with my shiny new parts.
