Good food here and well sized! We paid only $ 1 more to add a drink to our meal! Service was quick. Not busy when we came for lunch on Sunday. Will come again.

This is my fav phở place of all times. Soup tastes so much better than Thai son. Portion is super generous, and decent phở and supe fresh meat. Also, the owner of this place is super friendly and the service is superb.

This little restaurant located in Continental Centre is known for their banh mi’s. They make them well, but they’re not the best. It was lunch and this place was full! The service here isn’t bad, they’re diligent with refilling tea! They also have phở and other rice dishes! I tried their lemongrass pork on rice, and I was really satisfied. The lemongrass flavour was potent and the pork was juicy! I also got their meatball banh mi, which was actually ground char siu pork! It’s not the same as the chinese char siu, but still really good nonetheless! Overall I like this place, and would definitely come back!

This is one of our quick lunch place. The owner is really nice and always remember us when we walk in. Its not the busiest place and when you see lines next door waiting up to 45 min, might as well duck in here and have a Viet Sub or a bowlful of Phở. The subs are all one price, we like the Special which is combination of all the fillings. The Phở is good, but the noodles do get clump together when it comes, normally when we go to other Phở places, we have to add extra Siracha or Sweet Sauce in the soup but no need for the soup stock here.

We reluctantly decided to try this place out because Cattle & Pearl Castle were both extremely busy and we were extremely hungry. At first I thought this was a random Chinese restaurant but when we glanced at their menu, I noticed that they served Phở! And to my surprise they had BBH so I immediately knew what I’d be ordering(the rest of the menu didn’t seem too enticing anyway). When the BBH came, it actually looked pretty good but only came with regular phở noodles. The soup broth however was not so exciting(most likely doused with MSG to spice things up). There was nothing particularly interesting about their BBH and I actually found it hard to finish the entire bowl. Apparently they have decent Banh Mi — for Richmond. So would I come back for that? Maybe. Maybe not.

I really like their Banh mi for takeout. Stayed in one time for the phở. was OK, not great. Our«go-to» place in Richmond for the banh mi!

Tried this one tonight using a Groupon Now which expired today at 9 pm. They refused to honor the Groupon even thought the expiration date/time was right on it. We left without ordering anything — won’t give this one another try based on their attitude.

My mom told me that New Asia Deli Restaurant for Vietnamese noodle was pretty good and she went there for few times. My hubby and I were in the Continental mall and so we popped in for a quick lunch. We just tried common noodles in soup and believed wouldn’t go wrong. There was a bowl and on top of 2 tiny cook shrimps, 5 or 6 thin slices of Vietnamese ham, 1 meatball cut in to 4 pieces and few cilantro and green onion! No flavour with clear broth soup! My hubby had spicy house special noodles in soup, of coz, not special at all! The Vietnamese bun even worst! It had 1 thin cold ham and sour radish inside. I don’t think it worth for $ 8 for blend noodles soup, I would go somewhere else for lunch.

Came here because I had a groupon. It was the one for 4 ppl so we got to try their baguette, spring roll and soup noodles. Everything was just ok. Edible, but not the best. I was actually there when the other reviewer, bill, and his family there, and I have to say, they were indeed having a lot of unnecessary trouble with their groupon. I had no problem with mine, but the owner pretty much put her own limitations on the groupon that were not stated on the groupon such as only being able to order 1 of 2 rice dishes. The service is also really terrible, everything took too long and I actually saw 2 families walk out from the long wait and no acknowledgement at the door. They also like to walk away fast when you have a question or request. Had to ask 4 times, 2 ppl incl. owner for water. Overall, poor service, mediocre food, uncomfortable and sticky seats and tables. Would not ever recommend or go back. P. s. I felt bad for the other family that were denied their groupon(with no real reason). They had waited a good hour. I felt the owner should have let up her nazi régime at least that one time.

A wonderful place for Bánh mì Vietnamese sandwiches in Richmond. The Vietnamese ham used in the sandwiches really add interesting texture and taste, and it totally beats any cold cuts you’ll find elsewhere. My sandwich had three different ham — all tasted fresh! The bun was lightly buttered with some sort of herb sauce which really added an extra punch of flavour without being too salty. My sandwich had carrots, daikon radish, cucumbers and cilantro. It tasted so good!

I’m a regular patron of this restaurant and decided to write a brief review for this place. New Asia Deli primarily serves Vietnamese food and offers sandwiches, noodles and rice. Although they have a more limited menu as compared with other Vietnamese Phở restaurants in the area, their soup base is great. Do not expect too much from servicing as it is a typical asian restaurant with asian waitresses. The waitresses at this restaurant are very professional as most of them memorizes the order and are very accurate in bringing out the correct order. I would definitely recommend their Vietnamese sub sandwiches regardless of dinner or lunch. Best to add one to a bowl of noodle and share it as a group!!!

* Just like PF Changs * Ok, this place confuses me. It calls itself a «Super Vietnamese Baguette & Asian Pacific Cuisine» restaurant. Looking at the menu, there are a variety of bánh mì available(dac biet, meat ball, shredded porkskin, chicken, vegetarian), various Vietnamese dishes like salad rolls, lemon grass chicken/pork chops, phở, curry beef brisket with french bread, etc. So pretty much all around Vietnamese offerings at a typical Vietnamese restaurant, right? You would think so, until you look a bit more closely… The drink menu appears to be a typical Hong Kong café drink menu with things like lemon tea, ovaltine milk, horlick milk, HK style milk tea, etc. Hm… Random… Didn’t see anyone that looked Vietnamese anyplace. Oh, and everyone(and I mean EVERYONE) in the restaurant was speaking Cantonese — including all of the waitstaff and kitchen. Ok, that seals it — not a Vietnamese restaurant! So I guess it is a HK Vietnamese style deli restaurant? Guess some good folks from HK learned the recipes and then decided to bring them to Canada? I had the dac biet bánh mì which was smaller than the bánh mì at many other places in Vancouver. They also toasted the bread(boo!) to the point where the pâté was liquefying from the heat of the bread. The pickled veggies were good, but started to warm up from the bread as well. The Vietnamese ham was fine. The cilantro was french, but starting to wilt from the hot bread(getting the theme here)? I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to return when there are so many other places that do a better job. But it wasn’t terrible. I suppose you could say what this place does by HK style Vietnamese food is kind of like PF Changs serving US style Chinese food? That’s it! This is the PF Changs of HK Vietnamese food in a hole-in-the-wall setting!
