This place get busy once the clock hits 10. The service was nice and friendly, however the hostess is usually nowhere to be seen once you enter the restaurant. Coffee is offered once they seat you. Beware: it cost you $ 2.89! But it’s unlimited refills if you plan to have this as your drink. I was debating on getting the chorizo breakfast bowl or the chicken avocado omelette. I asked the server for suggestions but she only told me they both had different taste. Ok… In the end, I got the chicken avocado omelette(2.5/5-$ 15.99) and the peach milkshake(5/5-$ 5.00). Note that you cannot opt for a lighter portion for the chicken avocado omelette and you either get toast with hashbrowns or 3 pancakes. Can’t do half and half. It was served warm with salsa on one side of my omelette and sour cream on the other. I find it to be a bit bland and needed more salsa, sour cream, salt and pepper. The chicken was too dry and the avocado was overly ripe and mushy. The toasts and hashbrowns were nicely done. I enjoyed my milkshake and extra points for putting fresh bits of peaches. Downside: difficult to drink with a regular straw because the peaches started to clog the tube. A long metal spoon would be nice to have(like at whitespot). Based on the breakfast entrée, I won’t be back. I’m sure I can pay the same price for a fancier breakfast downtown.

This is a great place to enjoy a meal. Family friendly and located near other businesses to walk around. I had the cod dinner with generous portions of fries and Cole slaw. The fish was big only ate one. The kids meals are big portions. Adult size burger and cod. The waitress was really nice and attentive. Clean, fast, great patio area. Prices are $ 13-$ 30 plates.

We went here last night with our kids as we had a friend raving about the Ricky’s downtown. This place was just horrendous however. I had the French onion soup, which was obviously made from a package mix, tasted very chemical-y. Hot wings were straight out of a box and dry and not«cleaned up». My daughter’s Mac and cheese was Kraft Dinner that had been sitting for a long time and slopped in her dish. My husband’s club sandwich was butchered(how can anyone mess up a club sandwich?) Worst of all, it was more expensive than the White Spot which is fresh and tasty. I’ll only give one star for the waiters who was very sweet. I’d really love my money back in this one. Yuck!!!

Super burnt buffalo swings, potato chips with few cheese as nachos, odd service plus long wait for the food to arrive. What more can I say about this place? Probably nothin… I find it funny that this place was voted the«place of excellence» or something at 2006 that they placed beside the entrance. I have been to many Rickys and they really do not fascinate me as much as this joint

A little gem in the neighbourhood. Always consistently great service and food. Club sandwich with real Turkey not pressed and prime rib specials on Friday and Saturday that can’t be beat. If you want turkey dinner with the trimmings you get real Turkey not pressed as well. The basics are done well and I have had no complaints after several visits. Great milk shakes too!

The food was ok. I had the Yukon big breakfast. My advice is to not get it. Especially if you are watching your wait. It is 90% meat. Speaking of the meat it was really Greasy and salty I ended up not eating the rest. It took like 10 minutes to serve. There are a few good thing though, free refills on soda, eggs are good. Big screen TVs to watch hockey. All in all it’s ok. I’m a regular but if you are getting a Yukon big breakfast, get a side salad and lots if water. My tong is burning of salt.
