Brewed coffee is fine. Espresso drinks are better than others on campus. It’s attached to the bookstore next to the bus loop, great place to grab a cup of coffee before class, after getting off bus. Also a good place to do group assignments.

Friendly staff but terrible coffee! I could taste the grounds in my latte. It’s more a place to sit and do your homework rather than expect a good coffee.

Finnerty’s offers the most reliable latte on campus (and for a fair distance off campus) and is really much better than I expected to find at UVic. They use Salt Spring Coffee Co. as their roaster and their baristas generally know what they are doing.
They don’t have any option other than paper cups, so even if you want to sit and sip while reading a magazine from the bookstore upstairs, you still have to take a to-​go cup. Pretty good selection of pastries, muffins, and cookies.
