Very delicious. The prices are great and the staff are all super friendly!

Relied on the good reviews here and decided to try it out on our way to Whistler from Van just to find out that the food is very disappointing. Sushi lacks flavor, not wrapped properly, the space not cosy, and so forth. I should have turned back as soon as I entered this restaurant as it didn’t feel right from the get go, but again, I relied on the other reviews here. Lesson learned.

My airbnb was near this shop. I had beef udon and my partner had their donburi. Service was brisk and like most asian restaurants in Canada, they were run by family. I saw the cook throwing out burnt beef so thank god for not serving it to us. I love japanese food but didn’t try their sushi The prices are extremely reasonable and there’s an ongoing stream of customers, not a long wait!

Great sushi for the price, nice staff and a fun at home feel to the interior. The sushi was well made and served fast. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will visit again when I’m in squamish looking for sushi.

I live in the sushi capital of Canada, Whistler and the sushi at this humble little establishment is on par with anything in Whistler. Been going here almost every weekend with my mom for the last five years and have never been disappointed. The couple who run the place are always very nice in such a understated way. I’ve always found the service to be very quick and courteous. The person who said their prices are too high, please tell me where you can get quality sushi anywhere cheaper in the lower mainland.

Seat yourself. No table service. No tea. Expensive. Be prepared for plenty of mayo in your sushi. Greasy. It says best sushi in town, maybe because it’s pretty much the only one! Miso soup is good.

Decent food, good price with cute elderly couple running the place behind the counter. I’d go back again for the ambiance, the food selection, and the owners.

Good food | Good location | Good price $ This is rare to find a great sushi restaurant for a cheap price. We stayed right down the street from this place in downtown Squamish. Plenty of parking on the street. Nearby is the Climb On and grocery stores. The owners were friendly! We sat down and when we were ready we ordered and paid. If you want tea, you can make it yourself. Very simple, clean restaurant. My husband and I both had a bento sushi box and a salmon roll. If I can remember correctly, most of their rolls were averaged at $ 7. Portions were perfect and I felt happily full with the amount of food we ordered. So awesome, real crab in the California rolls(sushi bento box), not imitation crab. Salmon was delicious. If we come back to visit Squamish, we plan to hit up this place a lot more.

Love this little mom and pop shop! Five of us came in short of closing and they were nice enough to stay open and feed our hungry mouths. The Negitoro and salmon sashimi are melt-in-your-mouth-amazing! The tsunomono & sushi rolls are good too! The beef don was okay, but does the job if you’re trying to fill up your stomach. The fish is so fresh & tasty that I’ll definitely be coming back!

Welcoming husband and wife coupled which owned the small place for about 10 – 11 years. Great homey feeling, I’ve been eating there for over 6 years and it’s really good.

Great sushi. The fish is fresh and yummy and wild caught. I’ll be back for sure. By the way, I have no idea what the one star review is about — my sushi was perfectly rolled.

Had one stay there and they could even roll their sushi correctly. The sushi wasnt even circular, seaweed was coming off and I had to eat it with my hand, trying to scoop the entire thing with my fingers. Atmosphere was minimalist so you have to make your own tea, set your own table and service was shit. The only good thing was that it was quiet. An elderly couple who works there seem not to put any effort into décor nor quality. I would not come here again.

The husband and I had traveled up to Britannia Beach but we had a hankering for some sushi. So we drove on up into Squamish and stumbled across this place. It was very quaint and clean. The prices were very reasonable and the sushi was quite good. We got a beefdon, an unagi roll, and a teriyaki bento box, all of which were delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Squamish again, we’d definitely be back.

Real mom and pop shop. Run by the family. Mother, father, daughter. The sushi was great, service was quick and prices where very reasonable. Open kitchen plan so you can see everything. Very friendly and take pride in their food. Once of the local shop merchants in Squamish recommended this place to us. It is one of the best kept secrets in Squamish. No farmed Salmon at this place. Only quality ingredients
