Meet the Business Owner

Jennifer B.

Business Owner

Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Jennifer grew up in Oakville. She graduated from Ridley College and attended Queen’s University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Drama. Shortly after graduating she acquired her first bed and breakfast.

Under Jennifer’s ownership The Butternut Tree was listed in The Best Places to B&B in Ontario by Jeanette Higgins. After five seasons, she moved on to open Touchstone Manor. The luxury property was awarded the prestigious Four Diamond award from CAA in its second season, one of only two bed and breakfasts in Canada to hold the honour.

She sits on the board of the Stratford Festival, Stratford Summer Music, in the cabinet of the Transplant Campaign at Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation and is a front line volunteer for Perth County Victim Services.

In her free time, Jennifer can be found out and about with her trusty sidekick Eddie (the Golden Doodle) or scoping out luxury hotels in the name of research.
