Boardwalk Optometry

I was a patient of Dr Lindsay Kamachi for years due to location but when it came time to investigate a medical issue (eye flashes) I was having in my 8^th month of pregnancy, he wanted me to pay 50 dollars even though I just paid 120 dollars for a full eye exam ten weeks prior. I asked if I could bring a requisition from my GP to waive the cost but they still repeatedly said no. I was mortified to learn that my optometrist was more interested in making a buck rather than taking care of his patients. His receptionist had booked me in right away saying, these type of eye flashes need to be looked at, but then they proceeded to take advantage of my situation. Also, they kept assuring me that every office does this. I went to another clinic and told them what I was experiencing and they checked me out for free! So, I would completely avoid this clinic. They’re more concerned about their pocket book than their patients. Shame on you all.
