Contrary to the reviews, I have been dealing with MJM in Langley for many years and have never had an issue. Don’t believe everything you read!

Last update: we finally got everything. Our dining chairs came in the wrong color but we’re too tired of this crap so we just took them as is. The owner was friendly enough and professional enough whenever we let them know that we weren’t happy with whatever was going on (wrong items/​furniture, or banged up items) — so I’ll give him that, but I’ve never been treated this way by a company before. I don’t believe in the whole «customer is always right» bull, but there is a line to be drawn between customer and business relationships.
Also, be careful with your walls. The delivery guys will damage them. Each time they came (and it was every other day, delivering the wrong item.), our walls got banged up.
The people that work for MJM aren’t rude, it’s just the delivery service that is very frustrating.

These guys will do their best to rip you off. Check other places before you buy here to get an idea of the «actual price». The sales men will play games with you, will pretend to call call his manager, and keep the game going for awhile, all while being rude. Everything they sell can be bought at other stores for cheaper… All in all mjm was a terrible experience. I will never step foot in one again

I have to concur with the other reviews. The service at MJM just SUCKS huge!
Jags MJM is run by a team of morons that don’t understand the concept of good to great customer service!
My experience of deplorable service was with the GM at the Abbotsford location. If you have a warranty issue… you will be the one chasing them down to get them to make good. Expect to wait weeks with no follow-​up as communication is not high on their list of priorities.
My future dealings with MJM is done… over…nadda!
It should also be noted that the rest of the sales team (sales team is being too nice) are not all that friendly or concerned about your requirements.
You have options!!!

Darn… i wish i had read these other reviews as the described poor customer service are not isolated circumstances but a reoccuring reality.
MJM had a decent selection but when you factor in the customer service and the problems with delivery — i would certainly think again.
The first scheduled delivery — they were a no show. frustrating as i took time off work.
The second delivery — they banged our wall and made a dent as they moved stuff in — not to mention they brought mud onto our new cream carpets (they did not take off their shoes)
They ‘forgot’ the kitchen legs to the table (and took them two weeks to bring them back.)
Two of the bedroom sets were damaged (one they tried to repair by another person they had to send in) — the other they tried to conceal it by placing the damaged part facing the wall.
When trying to discuss these issues with the sales rep (Satnam) — it took about five messages left without a returned phone call — when i finally got a hold of him, he was extremely dismissive and non helpful.
As mentioned, i would think not twice but ten times before buying there again.

Though I was impressed by the HUGEness of this place; boys n girls, we’re talking about twice the size of a typical Brick store… styling’s more family & classic, nothing to decorate a small condo — and not cheap either.
Lowest priced sectional sofa I’m looking for about $ 1500.
Plus not one personal acknowledged me as i was there kicking tires for about 10 minutes.
Also sell mattresses too.
Usual kitchen tables, but mostly living & bedroom stuff.
