I bought instant noodles on sale and I didn’t notice that they were 3 months past experation. I cooked the noodles and ate them, and after 30 min I felt as if I had food poisoning. I threw up and felt weak, and had to goto the bathroom. My brother in law noticed mold and the expiration date(3 months expired). Never again will I visit this location in Surrey(Guilford)! Don’t ever buy anything on sale without checking the expiation date! They don’t care as long as they make a sale!

Even though there are 2 T&Ts quite close to this area, it’s obvious that Surrey is still quite underserved. The place was a complete war zone when I went. Parking is available in the nice large strip mall lot in front. The location is average sized, but what threw me off was the amount of shelves that were located physically outside the store. As a result, I couldn’t find what I was looking for and had to be pointed outside. I guess they’re not too worried about shoplifters. The place was just packed. I could feel my blood pressure rising as I cruised the aisles. I feel bad for those in Surrey who have to deal with this on a regular basis.

Solely come here for the food court. Best food court food ever. :)

The selection is little limited, and store is little smaller comparing with one in Central City, However it’s very convenient for people living in Guildford town center.

I have to admit, this is not my favorite T&T(like the Metrotown one a lot more). It is not very big, and the deli portion is pretty small. I would go eat in the food court next door instead. The bakery section is pretty big, however. Too bad I was heading home to the US today: live King Crab was $ 16 a pound on sale.

I have never been to a store where the staff reflective wear safety vests when stocking shelves!!! Safety never takes a break lol I enjoy the great south east Asian foods isle and the ability to pick out my king crab from the tank and watch them chop it in half with a cleaver right in front of me. Fresh!!! In the same location you can also find Chinese acupuncture(Dr. Edward) bubble tea, Chinese herbal medicine, and a small Asian food court.

This is my favourite from all the stores in the chain. They have a great selection of obscure asian ingredients that I need. The bakery is always on my list to visit. BBQ pork buns here are great and of consistent quality.

I am a caucasian girl who is an asian food fanatic, My boyfriend is Chinese/Indonesian and swears I am more asian than he is! When I walk through the doors of T&T Supermarket I am in absolute heaven. They carry everything from fresh lobster and crab to the biggest variety of asian sauces, seasonings and seaweeds. The bakery is to die for and the selections of fresh veggies is wonderful. Best of all the prices on most of these items just can’t be beat. The only downfall is that the customer service is very poor. Be prepared to find items on your own as no one who works there seems to understand english. I also find that I am almost not welcome there because I am caucasian and so am treated very rudely by both staff and other asian customers. Perhaps it does look a little strange to see a little white lady stocking up her cart with asian goodies like there’s no tomorrow! I make sure that when I visit, I am in and out as quickly as possible so as not to attract too much attention! lol! But I don’t care, the food is what its’ all about and if you are an asian foodie like me I highly recommend buying all your groceries at T&T!

Out of all the T&T stores, this is my favourite. Although in general, I love T&T, I prefer this store to the others because it is clean, well organized, and has good service. Be sure to check-out the seafood department; how can you not love lobster for 9.99 a lb?! Produce is fresh and varied, and you can find a great selection of meats too. The bakery isn’t as large as some other T&Ts, but it includes all the essentials(and more). Finally, the accessibility of this store is why I give it such a high rating — you can easily pull in, pull out, and go. The parking is simple, and the location is right on my way home.

I have always been a fan of the T&T Market, mostly for the food court. They have a varied selection from sushi to Chinese food.

Alright. let’s start with the. Pros: 1. Store overall: Good selection of products 2. Baked Goods: nice spread of breads 3. Veggies & Fruits: great for exotic veggies & fruits 4. Seafood & Meats: Large selection of protien Cons: 1. Organization: The store itself is a mess. Entering and exiting can be a bit of a maze, and items aren’t where they should be. 2. Bakery: not much variety with cakes 3. Seafood Dept: They should have a full fish service.(Clean, cut & Fry for example) T&T is quite a ways from where we live, but it’s definitely worth the drive if I need something another grocery store does not have.

T&T is a great place to get any type of ingredients needed for Asian food. They have a wide variety of products your wouldn’t typically find in regular supermarkets. They have the most exotic produce and seafood. The bakery also has a great selection of asian baked goods. If you’re looking for a quick snack, go grab something from the bakery that’s what I do. I love their egg and ham or egg and tuna sandwiches, surprisingly good! If you’re looking for cakes of a party, they have a lot to choose from. This particular T&T is quite busy, they have a high traffic of customers coming in and out. The parking lot is big enough to handle this volume. The cleanliness in this particular one is satisfactory, considering how busy it is they do a decent job keeping it clean. The location is also perfect, right along a major road in Surrey. Happy Asian Shopping! =D

I love T&T. Why? Because you can find almost anything Asian-foodie wise for super cheap. It’s right near my old high school so it’d be flooded with kids during lunch break picking up everything from BBQ pork steam buns for $.99 to cream puffs for desert(3 for $ 1) The produce is always fresh and much better priced than other supermarkets, same with the meat section(I remember my Dad loading up on pork soup bones when I was younger). They‘ve also got everything from delish rice crackers, bottles of aloe vera teas, and ice cream in pandan, green tea, mango, and ube flavours(yumm!) There’s also a food court that offers great lunchtime deals on sushi, Chinese, and Korean food. Pass on the bubble tea at Little Tea House, you can get better if you cross the parking lot to Bubble World. Try the curry, it’s definitely a favourite.

OMG, I love the bakery at T&T, they have the BEST chocolate eclairs and cream puffs. I love trying the other items as well… the bakery is fantastic! The meat and poultry section is also fantastic, so fresh!!!

Not as much rice(the calrose kind) selection as Fujiya, but yipes is it ever cheaper! I love T and T — except their poor excuse for sushi — they just need to oursource it to Fujiya.

T&T is a supermarket with just about everything you could think of. Yes, they do cater to the Asian market with some interesting foods such as shark fin and more, but they have normal, everyday stuff too — at reasonable prices. They have a great cafeteria section where you can get just about anything that’s ready to eat — form Chow Mein and Kung Pao to Chili Pork and Sushi. There’s a lot to choose from here. I especially like their fruits and veggies section where sometimes you can find some really exotic fruits that perhaps the only other place to have that fruit would be in its native land. If you’re into trying new and different tastes, T&T definitely won’t disappoint.
