Today I went to
and went through a commercial auto quote for my business. I then called ktx brokers to speak to the commercial broker. I believe his name was justin. When I told him I did a quote online, having entered in everything the right way, I got a good price and wanted to go ahead with a policy.
The broker, justin, told me the car I was trying to insure was not the right type of car for my business. He told me that I should have a pick up truck. I really didn’t know what else to say to him after that, it left me speechless. Either he was busy, lazy, or not wanting to entertain more business but he was definitely quite rude over the phone and told me to call someone else.
The funny thing is, I know these guys work with intact, and a few hours later I got an insurance policy with intact through another broker. So, it is definitely possible.
I have always been a fan of kanetix, but the commercial auto guy for ktx brokers, justin was his name, was disappointing

SCAM SCAM SCAM any other review that says otherwise is a scam or they should perhaps check some of these criminals they forward your call to. I was completely honest 100% on the online application and like everyone else was pleased at the template quotation. A template because it means less than zero. After calling and being forwarded from one broker to another, i got a quote near 9 times higher. I do honestly believe that the broker was really trying to take advantage perhaps if my call got forwarded to someone else I may have received a quote for 4 or 5 times more.
No mortgage, no claims ever, no jewelry and asked for no more coverage in cash. After receiving the crazy quote by this sneaky salesman, I was told that there were a few things inaccurate about the online application. Really? I said I had the print screen to show I answered the questions identically online to the questions over the phone.
Thanks very much for another online company who has our personal information we agreed to be shared (only way to proceed with the quote) and wasted our time and lied to.
This company is happy to sell your personal information, since that is what we had to agree to before they agreed that the quote was even a ballpark.
Please don’t let the fake reviews change your opinion, its usually the common negative ones that truly reflect the truth.

I called their 1 – 800 to find out what is the number my father needs to call if he is out of Canada/​US and he needs to use his Blue Cross travel health plan and he provided me with this number that when I called it is not even open! Obviously this is not the right number since if there is a medical emergency he will need to be able to reach someone ²⁴⁄₇ so he can proceed with using his medical insurance. What I find odd is when you purchase travel health insurance Kinetic does not eve provide you with the right number but only their 1 – 800 number in their confirmation email of purchase. Not very helpful. So right now I am on hold with Blue Cross at the number I found on their website. Hopefully they will be able to assist me.

My husband lowered his insurance payments for two years in a row thanks to Kanetix! This is great starting point for anyone looking for insurance; just use it as «search engine» for insurance, get your lowest quote and then call to the insurance provider directly and try to negotiate further. It worked for us and we recommend Kanetix website as a starting point to our family and friends.

I’ve been paying a hell a lot of money to insure a 13 year old car (Mitsu Eclipse), which I use only for pleasure. I am with a major insurance provider (PEM****). I have been with them for almost 4 years now, referred by my broker PC ******
Over the years I have called them everytime there is a renewal to see if they can cut some slack, as I drive no more than 12K kms. They said it’s the best they could do.
I tried some brokers and they all said this is the best I could get.
Finally, contemplating whether it is even worth having this car, I googled and found Kanetix. Run their online quote and to my astonishment, I was saving some $ 700 /​year. Geez!!! Is this for real? I couldn’t believe it.
Called them, skeptical as I am, I was waiting for a bait-​and-​switch coming along anytime. I was then forwarded to the insurance carrier with the lowest quote.
Half-​an-​hour later, after consolidating my home insurance with the auto insurance, I get a quote that is reduced from $ 2520/​year to $ 1503/​year
I still couldn’t believe it. How did I miss this for this long? I called two more provider including my very own :) to see if they could match… NOPE! They said they could give me a policy for $ 2400 a measly $ 100 less than what I had.
I am so glad I found Kanetix. I signed up on Unilocal just to post this review.
I think Kanetix should advertise themselves better, so people like me can find them.

Kanetix is an amazing insurance quote service. It was easy to use and I ended up with a $ 150/​month auto insurance policy from BelAir Direct. If I had bundled my other insurance with BelAir I could have gotten a policy even lower than what Kanetix originally quoted. I would highly recommend Kanetix to anyone buying car insurance.

It’s easy to use, with very accurate pricing. Doesn’t have all the insurance companies on the site, but has more than any other similar site, or any one brokerage.
Bottom line is that shopping for insurance is never fun, but at least this site makes it that much easier. Plus they seem to be really focused on customer service and satisfaction.
4 stars for ease of use, customer service, and price accuracy.

, I just want to say that most people who know me know that I love to shop. I will literally shop till I drop (I have if you don’t believe me! LOL) However, if there is one thing that I love equally as much as shopping is saving money, because lets get real who doesn’t like to save money… especially when shopping?
Recently, I had the awful experience of being notified of a significant increase to my car insurance rates by my current insurance provider and I was wondering how I was going to come up with the extra money. I had heard of the company ‘Kanetix’ on the radio while driving in the car with a friend, and she highly recommended them. I just thought they had a funny name. She mentioned that her Dad told her about it after he used them to get cheaper car and travel insurance and had a great experience with them.
As usual, I went and checked Unilocal to see if there were any reviews. There was one with only 1 star, but I decided to check them out for myself because my good friend and her Dad, that I trust, used Kanetix and said it was simply the best.
Needless to say, I went to their website and completed a «Quote Comparison in 3 Easy Steps». It was actually easy! To my surprise after about 5ish min of filling out the application, I was given about 7 rates for my car insurance. After this, I called the number provided and was transferred through to the insurer. I ended up getting a new policy that was $ 235 cheaper!!! Meaning I now have $ 235 more to shop with ;)
Overall, I would definitely recommend Kanetix!

I experienced the same thing as the previous poster. The lowest quoted rate was for their own «KTX Insurance» — which then, after agreeing orally to the rate over the phone, proceeded to bill me a higher rate and sent me a contract with inaccurate information on it, expecting me to sign. Beware.
