I’ve been to the new larger location«Trendy Fabrics» a few times and really like it. I was shopping for supplies to make a wool coat and was surprised to find everything I needed in one place, including a great selection of high-quality wool coating, kasha lining($ 10/yd, worth it for canadian winters), and weft interfacing, which has been harder to find than I expected. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, all their advice matched up with what I’ve heard from other experts, felt confident they knew what they were talking about. a÷Åq

A family run store that probably has the best selection for garment fabrics on Queen West especially when it comes to their laces and silks and they are of that rare and declining business model that still allows for haggling. Leo’s has tenaciously stayed in business despite the hard times the fabric stores on Queen W have been experiencing over the past 10 years. The owner has been running shop for over 20 years and will expertly lead you to the right stuff and at a reasonable price.
