Great location, great staff, and their selection of what they play over the cans is unprecedented. When I walked in and they had Fagan’s «Night Fly» going, I knew that I had found Toronto’s record sanctuary. I found the prices to be pretty good if not great compared to those other used LP shops on Queen. Who do they think they are?! Loon has Jimmy Buffet’s «Last Mango Paris» for $ 5? SOLD. Thanks Loon for being my new favorite record store. Bury me here.

Loon is an adorable store with friendly staff and a very good selection of older records. Everything is organized and there really is a record here for everyone. however, despite everything nice to be said about Loon, There is no other way to put it but– The place is overpriced. A lot of the records are just too expensive and given the condition they’re in and their availability it’s difficulty to justify Loon’s asking cost. It truly is a bummer because Loon is a nice store, but it just ain’t worth the price.

Great selection for a small store. They guys who work here really know their music and were happy to make a couple of recommendations when I asked. Reasonable pricing too. Will be coming back often as they tell me they have lots more records that will be hitting the bins regularly…
