Number 9 Audio Group is a prolific Toronto recording studio, having worked with a variety of artists such as Amanda Marshall, The Barenaked Ladies, Rush and The Rolling Stones since its creation in 1981. With a wide range of new and vintage gear, and a staff of experienced audio engineers, Number 9 is the ideal location to meet your audio recording needs.

In addition to its sound recording facilities, Number 9 has complimentary services in CD/​DVD duplication, graphic and web design, video editing and audio equipment rentals. Number 9 is also home to a well-​respected school of audio engineering, where students learn through 1-​on-​1 lessons with our head engineer Bernie Cisternas.

History

Established in 1981.

Number 9 Audio Group was founded in 1981 by George Rondina, who still owns and operates the company to this day. Over the years Number 9 has worked with a multitude of clients, including The Barenaked Ladies, Amanda Marshall, Rush and The Rolling Stones.

Although audio recording has always been the focus of Number 9, it has expanded to include complimentary services in CD/​DVD duplication, web and graphic design, video editing, and recording school.

Manager

George has been involved in the Toronto music scene for over thirty years, and has run Number 9 Audio Group since its inception in 1981.
