History
Established in 2012.
Sandbox was born out of a the need to create space for artist that weren’t quite ready to spend all of their money in a million dollar studio, but wanted something better than a record cut in someone’s basement. Aside from wanting to create a comfortable environment, Sandbox has a particular focus on artist development as the owner sees the need for independent artists to understand the music business better in order to navigate successfully throughout it.
Some of the biggest names in urban music have stepped foot in the modest looking space with a big, clean and clear sound to work comfortably in between shows and tour stops. Sandbox isn’t trying to look like a million dollar studio, it’s focused on sounding like one, without you paying a million dollars for it.
