*pruning and transplanting of bulbs, annuals, perennials, shrubs and small trees

*organic garden maintenance (raking, weeding, edging, mulching) on a regular or as-​needed basis (spring and fall yard cleanups)

*garden makeovers with new and/​or existing plants

*garden consultations and coaching regarding plant care and design

*small residential garden design using native perennials and shrubs

History

Established in 2005.

After graduating in 2006 from Toronto’s Humber College Landscape Technician program with honours, I decided that you deserve much better. It makes sense to hire an experienced gardener who you can trust to work on your property and around your family, is knowledgeable about perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees and truly understands and values your time and business. As a homeowner with a busy life myself, these are the qualities I would be looking for in hiring a gardener!

Gardening has been a constant thread weaving in and out of my life since I can remember. The smell of the tomato seedling in a styrofoam cup that I received when I was maybe six years old is still lodged somewhere with the other childhood memories. I still think about this when I’m near a tomato plant!

Fast forward forty years and now gardening is my life’s work. But how did this transition happen?

I had an epiphany in my corporate office cubicle one day and decided to go back to school in 2004 and continue to «pull that thread» to the next piece of life’s quilt to sew (if you kindly allow me to expand this analogy.)

I graduated in 2006 from Toronto’s Humber College’s Landscape Technician program and created my gardening services business during my co-​op work requirement as a gardener at Islington United Church (thanks Rosemary!)

I’ve met and continue to meet many wonderful people who do not have the time or physically unable to spend outside looking after their cherished plants
