The SPORT Gallery specializes in fine art photography from sports’ golden era, vintage-inspired apparel, accessories, and gifts. We carry many exclusive fashionable, high-quality garments and accessories from vintage sports teams across North America (and beyond).
History
Established in 2006.
We opened in the Distillery District in 2006, and have been growing, along with the area itself, ever since. Our exclusive photography collection is the core of our business, and it comes from the archive of SPORT magazine, which was the first general-interest sports magazine, launched in 1946. The prints that we carry, most are from the mid 40’s-60s, are exquisite and rare — some of them were featured in SPORT many decades ago, others have never seen the light of day until now.
We began curating a wide collection of vintage-inspired apparel in 2009, and today we develop many exclusive heritage pieces to complement our prints.

Manager
I’ve been running The SPORT Gallery since 2009. I love everything about my job from getting to curate the most exquisite and rare photographs, to developing new vintage-inspired garments, to meeting new people with great sports stories to tell. Sports hold such a meaningful role in history — and that’s something that I love to share with people.
As a true Torontonian, my favorite sport is hockey, and my team is the Leafs. But that said, I have a passion for any team and sport that has a rich history, and so I try to make sure we represent all teams and sports at The SPORT Gallery.
