I always try to avoid going to Crosby Memorial Community Centre for any activities or event or classes. Compared to other Markham’s Community Centre this is the worse of them all facilities wise. The equipment here: mats, dumb bells are all so dirty! Then I found out that Crosby was«opened in 1928 with an arena pad with a sand floor base and four dressing rooms. In 1959 the sand floor was converted to concrete. Additions were made to the arena in 1962 and 1971, and in 1974 seating was added.» 1928!!! Even the newest additional was added in 1974… The only good thing about coming to Crosby is it is right inside Old Unionville. Ended up a lot of the participates ended up coming to the various coffee shops and cafes after their practise sessions!

A single rink. They have hockey and curling! Located at the end of Unionville Main Street, it is one of the locations where the Tony Roman hockey tournament gets played. And I think this might be the home of the Unionville skating club as well.
