The portions here are really small for the money you spend. Our regular place in kits provides twice as much food for less money. The butter chicken tasted like it had been reheated a few times as well

We stopped by on a late night whim, around 9:30. The restaurant was surprisingly spacious, considering the small store front, and had a nice welcoming feel to it. The owner started playing some cool Indian music about half way through our meal, which added a nice vibe. The food was delicious. I ordered a mild curry chicken, and my friend ordered the regular curry lamb. Everything was good, the wait time was reasonable, and we finished our meals with a delicious chai tea. i would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends.

Inexpensive and mundane Indian place on Broadway. Went here for lunch one day and wasn’t impressed with the food. It was cheap but rather bland. I go to Indian restaurants to escape bland western food. Don’t just give me spice, smack me in the face with it. This place certainly can’t deliver there. One cool touch was the metal ‘tv dinner’ style plates that you get at your lower end restaurants in Indian. I did actually like that. Pity about the food.

A few years ago i went to this place and the food was good and the service was good. Excitedly i went today… to a place where the service was quite slow even though hardly any customers was there. Then when the food came it was mostly liquidy with 3 small pieces of potato and a very few pieces of chicken. A great dissapointment. The food was mostly watery tasting. The papadam was nicely done. The chai tea was ok(not good not bad… just ok). I was greatly dissapointed. I only ate a very small amount… and when i asked to take the naan… they told me in that restaurant they don’t allow that. I was greatly surprised because this was not a buffet. And i should be entitled to do what i wanted since i paid for it. Basically i wanted to take the naan and go somewhere else and get something else to eat with it. I think she did this to spite me… because i said to her that the food is soupy and nothing much in it. Could i possibly get a few more pices of at least the potatos. She said that i would have to pay more for it. I was not about to do that because i would then get the same experience(soupy food with a very few potatos or something… and i would be paying more for it). This was the worst Indian experience i have had(I have gone to a great many). There have been mall food fare Indian outlets that had soupy food… but if you asked for a few pieces more they usually accommodated. So… i have to say this has been the worst food experience of my life.
