More of 3.5 star, but I rounded up because of the cheap price for indian food. Went for lunch today and got take-out…Paneer Makhani with rice and naan bread. Super reasonable price for lunch, $ 9+tax, and pretty good flavour for the curry. I’ve definitely had better naan, but it may have just been due to the take out/travel time. For a fast, cheap Indian food fix, this is your place.

Game over. Never, ever, ever, again… I failed to get in two Sundays in a row… Cuz they was CLOSED when they was supposed to be OPEN. Maybe I should call before showing up? Yeah… Maybe… My bad… Then I show up on a Saturday afternoon… YES! They was open for business! But this is true… Sadly… This is not a urban legend… Their butter chicken wrap contain 2 tiny nibbles of chicken… COMMON… Are you guys trying to fail??? Seriously… TWO nibbles of chicken… BUT the Naam bread was fluffy and yummy… Such a deception… I was willing to leave my playground often for them… Chicken Roti is da deal… And they are close by… On Cambie St… Asta la vista baby…

The food is surprisingly good because judging from the lack of atmosphere and welcoming hospitality from those who work there — you’d be led to think otherwise. With that said the portions are on the measly side. The prices look good but are not fair given their small portion size. Management really needs to step up to the plate here! TIP: Do not order a take-out Thali as you will get very little of the curry of whatever you ordered. It is much better to sit in and eat — while you still don’t get a lot in terms of portion at least you don’t feel ripped off as much.

It’s sort of a weird in between kind of place, not exactly fast food but not quite a proper restaurant either. It’s always dead, so sometimes they just close early. But, it’s quite good food for the price, not huge portions but enough to fill you up. Worth a visit if you’re not in a hurry.

I love this spot, it is my go to for a quick Indian meal. The food is always fresh and delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is clean! Enjoy

This place seldom looks occupied when I walk by, but I felt like Indian food today, so in I went. really i’d give this 2.5 stars if I could… Ordered the lamb rogan josh, and was disappointed. The naan was one of the best I had, but the basmati, while perfectly cooked, lacked the scent of jasmine or coconut one would normally associate with Indian rice; the ‘curry’ itself tasted like a bolognese with a can of tomato stock, extra salt, some lamb and just enough spice to make it feel ‘indian’, added. Also, the food was ready before I even got to sit down!(suspect they microwave their meals?) Also disappointing are what is missing from the menu– you cannot order papadum, Lhassi, or Khulfi! If I’m hungry for Indian specifically, I’d never come back; but if I want just something to eat b/c I’m hungry, and don’t feel like a burger, pizza, or wrap– yeah, I might be back.

I really wanted to like this place because there’s a food stall downtown that does a great naan wrap, but the quality here is just so hilariously bad that you’d get more value for your money taking a bus downtown than eating here. The biggest problem is that there is little to no quality and content in their dishes. I had a butter chicken wrap that basically had no chicken. After a couple of bites of rice with some unfortunate tasting butter sauce without any chicken I decided to open the wrap up to find 3 small bites of chicken, with everything consisting of rice… and rice, which I washed down with some very mediocre chai. Skip this place and go get yourself some pizza next door instead. There’s a reason this store is empty when its neighbours are packed.

Terrible, the lady was not very friendly, as soon as I ordered my food she went back and I could hear her turning on the microwave, 20 seconds later my food was ready. McDonalds isn’t even that fast. Disgusting chicken, medi-ocre curry, dry rice. Stay away this place is a joke.

Awesome food. Place looks recently renoed and neat. I have no complaints with the vegetarian combos, ambience or customer service. Definitely worth a try when you are nearby…

This place is a joke. They aren’t open when they say they are going to be open and they are constantly sold out of items on their menu. When you go to a fast food restaurant you expect them to have at least 90% of what is one their menu. Multiple times I have gone and they have been sold out of naan, samosas, or entrees like the lamb rogan josh. It is not worth my time or effort to patronize an establishment that is clearly not prepared to serve their large neighborhood.

This is a very good solid addition to the neighborhood restaurant take-out choices. The pros– the palak paneer was nicely spicy, the samosas are good(again with a little spice), and the price is RIGHT– very good value for money. The portions are a little small on substance, heavy on sauce– two or three bites of chicken in the butter chicken curry, but still, for six bucks(with rice and na’an), it’s still a REALLY good deal.
