Found this place on a whim. This is about as «hole in the wall» as it gets. Parking is available in front, in the strip mall parking lot. The interior has to be one of the plainest of any restaurant I have ever seen in my life. I think my bathroom has more décor. See pic. The owner is very friendly, and was helpful in recommending dishes for us. Water was served in a silver pitcher that I think came out of an antique store or thrift shop. As for the food? Wow. The spiciness is definitely worth a special mention. There’s a special kick to Sri Lankan cuisine that makes it oh-so-delicious. Mutton kothu — really excellent mix of ingredients. I can still taste this dish as I write this review. Special mention. Chicken Biryani — served with boiled egg in middle. Also very delicious. Herbs and spices are subtle but not overwhelming, other than the spiciness. I will definitely be back. The good news is that the food selection is quite limited, so it shouldn’t be too hard to clean out the place. Recommended.
