Our mandate at Brainboost is simple: to help humans grow and develop in ways that matter to them. We do that by designing experiences that challenge and inspire. We find out what our students are passionate about and we go from there. Our one-​to-​one tutoring, with flexible tutors, allows people to be taught in ways that match their learning style and personality. Small-​group experiences bring people of all ages together to explore, share, and develop creativity and motivation. Our Hub Pass program allows kids to make their education a reality that they only imagined could exist. Our full-​time programs offer an exciting and supportive alternative to traditional schooling with customized schedules for each learner. Throughout the summer, our programs offer fun, dynamic ways for students to continue progressing through their high school career or to explore off-​book curriculum in one of our Fun Pods.

History

Established in 2003.

Brainboost began as an in-​home tutoring service, with teachers conglomerating to share experiences, strategies and research to enhance their educational approach with students. As the company continued to grow, Brainboost settled into a space in Vancouver where students and teachers could meet to conduct their sessions. With this new workplace, Brainboost continued to evolve its programs and started to develop full-​time programs for its students.

In 2005 the company continued to expand, moving into its current location at Broadway & Blenheim in Vancouver and dubbed it «The Hub». Currently, the HUB serves as Brainboost’s home for day-​to-​day operations which range from full graduate programs for high-​school students to enrichment sessions for students of all ages.
