Coal Harbour Boat Rentals

Wes and his crew is fantastic. Super friendly and great to work with. We had some trouble on our travel day and Wes was awesome to deal with. He was very understanding. I rent boats all the time, and he did have every right to basically say too bad. But he didn’t. Hopefully I get the chance to rent from Coal Harbour Boats in the future.

The boats are old and look terrible. I was actually glad that the owner never showed up for work, leaving 4 groups of people waiting for an hour and a half without notice all while not replying to any phone calls. Eventually a lady came to tell us all that the owner will not be coming today. Very unprofessional, and the condition of the boats shows that the owner simply does not care.
To add to the insult he advertises the newest and best fleet of boats in Vancouver: what a lie! We went to the boat rental on Granville Island and got a brand new boat, for less money and from people that really care.
@owner: Do us all a favor and close shop or let someone who cares do the work. You had people with children, couples carrying coolers and gear to the port for nothing. How hard is it to pick up a phone and let people know?

Too bad since we live above the marina and would have been regular customers otherwise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat rental and our boating trip through Coal Harbour and around Stanley Park.
Customer service was great. We were given life jackets and since we aren’t necessarily seasoned boaters, we were given a run-​through on how to operate the boat. The boat was in good clean condition. Our daughter went with us and they had a life jacket to fit her.
My only gripe is that we didn’t rent it for a longer duration! We will definitely be back when the weather warms up!

Great service and beautiful news boats. We enjoyed our trip out through Coal Harbour to Deep Cove. Next time we’ll go out for longer.
