I love Davids Tea and their products. I find it interesting to hang around here at times. But they do come over and ask if you need help. I am just someone who likes to be ignore unless I really need help. Their teas are awesome! I like this Davids Tea location. Its located in Pacific Center downtown. Very convenient. There is skytrain that goes to this mall. Its a corner store so every time I walk by its interesting to look at their display items.

I’m not sure with their sales practice and how this store handle their teas. First, I went there today to buy a 100 gms of ceremonial matcha, it was about 90 gms left when the staff placed it in a tin container. So she went to storage to get another bag of ceremonial matcha but left the tin can on top of the scale OPEN to LIGHT and AIR. So I’m concerned the tea I am about to buy has been exposed for a long period. I have to grab the tin cover and covered it by myself while she gets another new bag of matcha. Second, I also want to get a hot ceremonial matcha to go, but this asian guy whisked 2 matcha drinks for his 2 co workers before making one for the customer. I have to wait for about 20 mins. I hope they will change these practices. If not, the tea qualities and customer service are questionable. So disappointing.

Came here with my sister to check it out! She had gotten me a really great loose leaf tea tumbler so I wanted to see what they had for teas! The location is easy to find within Richmond Center(just to the left if you enter by White Spot), and is clean/orderly. The staff was very helpful as my sister had some questions about the different teas as she was getting a gift for a friend who was about to have surgery. Now I can’t wait to check out the store in San Francisco. Might have to get one of their pitchers for ice tea or infused water!

I love teas, especially these over the top flavours. What I don’t love are the over the top prices though… $ 3.50 starting for a cup of tea? Buy the loose leaf and make at home instead! If you go after the holidays, you will also find great sales! Value 1⁄5 Atmosphere 2⁄5 Service 2⁄5 slow Quality 5⁄5 10⁄20

I am in love with this store. It doesn’t matter which location I visit, the staff are always the best. I can always tell how much they like working there, and I completely understand, because how could you ever be sad when you’re surrounded by so much deliciousness? I’ve been coming to this location since I’ve been working more downtown, and every time I come in I always leave with a grin and an enormous bag of tea, sometimes a new mug depending on how saucy I’m feeling. Somehow when I go in there I forget about my mountains of student debt and I can whimsically justify spending money on tea(because it will help me study obvs) and I just happily hand over my credit card and walk away surrounded by a swirling aroma of looseleaf. The staff are the best, they give great tea recommendations, and are all so genuinely enthusiastic about the products they’re selling. If you have not ventured into the world of looseleaf tea, I suggest you start here!

The staff at this store was great, however this shop is an expensive boutique tea shop, where no prices are posted, and they won’t tell you how much the teas cost if you ask them. Definitely a shop where downtown yuppies, or tourists, shop for tea. Avoid.

Popped in here today to get some new teas. I’m ‘one of those’ customers in that I like to smell many cans then I also like to ask for the nutritional info for all the flavours I’m considering(I’m looking for 0−1g of sugar and carbs). Today a girl named Neve helped me out and was super nice, friendly and very helpful in picking out great flavours. Walked out of there with 4 bags for myself, 2 for a friend and a couple of Valentine’s box sets that were too cute to pass up.

I always love David’s tea, however, I bought a bag of tea and they had issue with giving me a cup with hot water so that I could have a first cup. I didn’t even want the filter bag. I just wanted a teaspoon of what I already bought now. I even offered to pay a small fee for the cup since they really did not want to do this for me, however, they were insistent that their policy would not allow it. Embarrassed I went to Starbucks who were more than happy to give me a hot water cup.

Thumbs-up! I’m always going at this location. It’s close by, quiet and the staff is great. I mean by that… They cheer for ya and let you checking out the stuff. Priceless. I hate when people are following me or asking me 10 times if I am fine… Also convenient opening hours.

We were visiting Vancouver and came in to check out some tea… They have several, like 100+ different teas in stock and will happily let you smell each tea and go over what is in each one. We talked with Carmen and she spent an hour with us… We left having spent over $ 100 on enough tea for a year or two. She was so helpful and knowledgeable! We loved our experience and will be back as soon as our tea runs out! I would certainly recommend this place!

Upscale priced tea. I do like how it is set up at this shop and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We asked for Maple tea, which they were out of.

Not sure what the hype is about, but they do have cute nifty things for tea. A cup of tea is pretty darned pricey.$ 3.00. I do love the assortment of cute mugs, tea cozy’s and other interesting tea accessories made for David’s Tea. They got rid of the Ovo glass tea vase I received as a gift last year with two, much smaller ones, similar to the Libre, but glass of course. My least favourite aspect of their shop: the location. Situated right by beside the automatic doors, the floors are soo slippery there on wetter days, I almost slipped twice trying to leave there! Even though there is a giant mat, really, does not keep you safe around the shop. Also with the doors opening every 2 seconds, Its like you decided to walk outside. with no jacket on! *sigh* However, I’ll be sure to check out the few other locations and provide a review for each.
