This place is the best. Preet is the best eyebrow threader. It’s affordable, and the ladies are amazing at what they do.

Poonam is the best for eyebrow threading! So quick and very affordable. So lucky to have found this little genius.
She deserves 5 stars, but I am giving the company 4 stars as they seem to have problems with their booking systems — twice now, I have shown up for appoints and I am not in the schedule, despite my having the email confirmation.

SO DISAPPOINTED! I have thick brows and have been growing them out for months now. I came to get my brows cleaned up and told the lady specifically to keep my NATURAL SHAPE, THICKNESS AND LENGTH and despite nodding and saying ok I ENDED UP WITH SUPER THIN BROWS THAT ARE HALF THE WIDTH OF MY ORIGINAL BROWS! I regret coming here and will never do so again.

I came as a drop-​in for some eyebrow threading (first-​timer to this place and eyebrow threading) some months ago and luckily they had room for me! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The lady who did my brows was really nice, I really liked her. Very fast and efficient, and most importantly it was CHEAP! The service at the front desk could be a lot better, though. Regardless, I’ll be coming back.

I booked 30mins before I checked in.
Atmosphere:
2 story set up, with Italian influenced designed interior. Spacious, plenty of rooms to provide multitude of beauty services. Clean and tidy equipment as expected in a service industry.
Not wheelchair accessible. No elevator (visible), stairs only.
Customer service:
Reception greetings are lukewarm. The estheticians are friendly and professional.
Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday — 9am to 8pm
Saturday — 10am — 6pm
Sunday — 11am — 6pm

I take a deep breath and away they go. I try to concentrate on the small chit chat. And I’m out of there in 20mins-​30mins depending on my last session date.

Poonam is simply amazing, she has done my eyebrows for the last 6 months and i refuse to have anyone else touch my eyebrows!!!

I keep coming back here because the Brazilian waxes are only $ 28 dollars. Anywhere cheaper will be out of someone else’s house.
In addition to the reasonable prices, the experience is pretty decent. You get some good and some great waxers, but I can‘t complain for the price.
Place always feels clean and staff are friendly.

This is my first time to visit Donna Lucia, i got a brazilian wax. I had it done by lindsay, very efficient, quick and it wasn’t as painful as i thought it would be as i haven’t waxed in 2 months, so u can imagine! Very reasonably priced compared to other waxing parlors. Also the location is very central and convenient. Definitely will be coming again.

And all along I thought Poonam was my little secret!
I’ve been seeing Poonam for eyebrow threading for several years now (I was one of her first clients! :)) and I can say confidently that I’ve never been happier with my brows! I won’t let anyone else touch them now, even when I’m overseas. Poonam is an absolute expert at what she does and her passion and enthusiasm is unparallel to any other eyebrow specialist. Follow her recommendations and be regular/​consistent with your appointments and you’ll enjoy the best brows you’ve ever had!

Worst manicure I’ve had maybe ever. I asked the nail tech to trim my cuticles, and she pulls out her cuticle trimmers and starts cutting DRY, no soak, no cuticle softener. My hands looked and felt terrible afterwards. I was only in town for a couple of days, so I wouldn’t be going back anyway, but if I lived there, this is the last salon I would go to.

Poonam is the most amazing! My eyebrows have never looked so fantastic! I’m getting so many compliments from my threaded eyebrows. I was nervous at first because I’d never had them threaded but she did it as quick and painless as possible! Never going anywhere else!

This review is strictly on the customer service I received… or shall I say lack of.
I came upon Dona Lucia today (Monday, Sept. 14^th) at around 1 pm just to see if they were taking any walk-​ins for a mani-​pedi. Considering it was early Monday I figured I might just have a chance dropping in at this fairly popular location.
This was my initial conversation upon walking inside…
Me: «Hi, I was wondering if you had any openings for walk-​ins as of right now»
Front Desk Lady: «For what.»
Me: «Mani-​Pedi if possib…*interrupted mid sentence*»
Front Desk Lady: «No.»
May I mention… no hi, no how are you doing, no option for another time slot… literally she just said NO.
I walked right on out (with no goodbye).
I am truly not one to complain, but coming from California and enjoying my time in downtown Vancouver has been wonderful except for Dona Lucia’s super rude receptionist. (She was a bigger girl with long dark hair and I guess colored eyes.)
Thank you for not taking me today, I’m sure your services would be just as bad as your front desk lady.
I’m glad I spent my $ 109 else where (*cough*cough*) the Waterfront Nails and Waxing in Coal Harbour. SO much more worth it. They have wonderful people there.

I got my nails done with Lisa today– manicure and parrafin wax– I look forward to returning, she did such a great job and she was also very sweet! It had been a while since my last manicure so she had a lot of work to do but she took her time and was very gentle. My nails look so pretty, I can’t stop looking at them. I will definitely be back very soon!

Reasonably Priced and Incredible Service at the same time!
Having low tolerance for pain is one thing for me, but quality and cleanliness is where I look at most of the time. I came here cause I wanted to have a wax. First time to have a wax. Never, have i ever imagined myself coming in for a wax, much more a BRAZILIAN WAX. I know, crazy. I was feeling crazy that day and I was thinking why not, it’s not gonna be that bad. Guess what, i was right. You ask for DANIELA. She was so funny and made me feel less anxious about the situation. Ladies, don’t come in without trimming those you know! You trim them before you have your brazilian wax, way better, less painful as per daniela. They do a great job here and you feel safe and secured at the same time. I have my brows waxed here too as well as threading, such a good place to have your waxing needs, fast and reliable service.

I’ve been using the salon for almost two years now, and I’m very happy with the service. The price is reasonable and it’s easy to book an appointment online (which I love).
I strongly recommend Preet for threading (she’s super sweet) and both Davena and Lisa are amazing for waxing (and they are FUN!!).
Can’t complain!

Absolutely always trust Poonam to get your brows DONE! She is a gem; a warm woman with confidence in her skills. After bopping around from salon to salon for brows and trusting many estheticians with threading face, I landed in her chair and she pretty much has transformed me. Where my brows were sparse and not growing, they are now full and strong. Literally 2 months straight of seeing her every 2.5 weeks and the results are fantastic.
For brazillians, trust Vanessa and Jean. They’re fast and absolute sweethearts.

I’ve been to both locations and I’ve been super happy with the service! Not only do they do a wonderful job but their prices are very reasonable compared to other salons in Vancouver. Everyone there is always super friendly and professional.
If you need your brows done make sure you go to my girl Verinder. She is da bomb! She always does exactly what you ask of her not how she likes to see your brows.
I hope that they continue the great service and keep their prices reasonable.

Had an amazing pedicure from Davena — she was so expert, so efficient
and very pleasant. The surroundings are ok — maybe an upgrade to using foot spa’s rather than old skool bowls for foot soaking would be good but that didn’t affect the quality of the service. Top notch pedicure at a very reasonable price considering Davena’s skilful work and the Salon’s location.

Decent gel polish manicure. The service was quite great and the final result was also pretty nice. The interior decorations were of some theme, but the manicure/​pedicure chairs were placed in a strange place.
Will definitely come back for the manicure again.
