Emily Roop Hair Stylist

Emily is a professional. If you want your hair done right you call and ask for her. I got my hair colour from black to asian blonde in one sitting and my hair still all there, no break off or need massive trims off from all them bleach. She is also quick too.

I started seeing Emily about 4 years ago. I have short ‘Modern bob’ (with emphasis on the «MODERN») type hair, and I just kept getting haircuts that were less ‘modern’ and more ‘middle aged’. Emily was the first and only stylist that was able to give me the fun, funky, young cuts that I wanted. while also working with my wavy/​fine hair. I saw her consistently & happily (every 6 – 8 weeks) for a long time before a move to San Francisco dragged me kicking and screaming away from her.
While in California I searched desperately to find anyone who could rock my world even half as good as Emily. Nobody could. For 2.5 years I suffered mediocre haircut after mediocre haircut. Nobody had Emily’s vision, Emily’s rockstar execution, Emily’s personality or Emily’s pizazz. My fun hair cut faded away into a tired, boring bob. and no stylist I saw seemed up to the task.
However! I am happy to report that my husband & I are now BACK in Vancouver and one of the first phone calls we made upon returning were to Emily (or ‘Hair Stylist Emily’ as she is affectionately known in our home). Both my husband & I are looking forward to resuming our relationship with and having our hair (and our worlds) rocked by her!
Emily is incredible and truly the only person I trust fully with my hair. Her prices are MORE than reasonable, she is always very quick to respond to emails/​phone calls, and operates her business with a professionalism that is severely lacking this day in age. I cannot recommend her enough.
